I see the ignorance continues to run deep around here. Of course, let's just racialize everything instead of just admitting this was an awful event. I love all of the fragility nowadays, it's quite amusing. I hear a bunch of screaming from all over the place, yet nobody ever offers up any solutions to the ills that plague this nation.

I'd recommend having an intelligent conversation with someone you disagree with about this stuff instead of just yelling at each other and feeding into whatever narrative you agree with. Do we have a race problem in this country? Yup. Is the system setup to keep people of color and poor people of all colors poor and incarcerated? Without a doubt. Was this a racial attack by a man of color against a majority white crowd, or was he running from the police to avoid being locked up again? Who the hell knows? He's an ass and should spend the rest of his life in jail for this regardless. Is comparing this to what happened in Charlottesville asinine? Based on what I know right now, absolutely.

At the end of the day, we need to come up with some reasonable ideas and implement laws/policies to make life better for everyone. Maybe we can avoid some of this crazy chit. The US has a 19% poverty rate and ranks #1 against other developed countries, why is that even possible in the "richest country in the history of the world?" We've got a ton of people out here worshiping politicians like idols instead of pointing out the fact that they are all pawns to the special interests that they're aligned to. We need to make corporate bribery of politicians illegal again and maybe we can weed out the awful politicians on both sides and make some real change.

From what I have seen, yes, this was racially motivated. His social media and music made it very clear what he thought about white people, which included lyrics involving hurting white people. He also has a history of hurting people. IMO suggesting someone would drive through a parade killing and injuring dozens just to get away from a petty crime is asinine. It only takes the most mentally deranged of extremists to kill with that sort of disregard. This, absolutely comes off as a racially motivated crime and I don't think it's the least bit ridiculous for someone to believe that.
