can you name an asset class to scale into then besides stocks/crypto/real estate? It's not like selling off assets and holding fiat is a good strategy (srs) just genuinely curious what else you would possibly buy if every investment-grade asset class is supposedly going to crash soon

the only thing we can do in this scenario is diversify assets and hold... I don't think holding cash in anticipation of a crash (in any asset class) is a very good way to approach high valuations. One thing we know with near absolute certainty is that USD will continue to inflate... its almost guaranteed to be a losing proposition to hold cash as far as I can tell (unless you think you can time markets, but you probably can't srs)

Even during a time of high valuations across nearly every asset class, I would still rather hold assets that reliably appreciate in value (even if they are priced highly) than cash which reliably depreciates in value, especially the past 12-24 months with no turnaround point in sight (besides rising interest rates in 2022/2023 which will only dent the dynamic of cash being trash)

Have u seen the DXY? It's pumping massively. When people have no liquidity or savings and the FED starts cucking everyone the panic that will engulf the markets is going to swallow retail into despair. Excessive money printing doesn't mean line go up forever.

Stagflation exists and it is fuarking brutal. You don't have to time the top exactly, but you best be scaling out and managing risk the more heated chit gets. It will flip like a switch one day.

It will be fine to sit in cash for 6 months to a year or longer. The problem with trying to find where to park your cash is everyone is looking for a place to park their cash. Don't over complicate a market. A market goes up because theres more buyers than sellers. The market goes down because theres more sellers than buyers.

What we are seeing right now is that everyone or soon to be everyone will be a buyer. What happens when you run out of buyers? What happens when you run out of buyers and theres people like me or entropy or whoever else in this thread that are getting ready to sell? The liquidity in the orderbooks gets razor thin and you see slippage and cascading that brings about those massive red wicks. Sentiment changes quick.

We are not going to be able to time the top, and we are not going to be able to time pumps and dips. What we can do is hopefully find an exit in the middle of a cycle or near a top. You don't have to have a perfect exit. Even a bad exit will still be good once you look at it in the right perspective. When the market pulls back 80-90% and you are sitting in cash with thousands, hundreds of thousands or millions in buying power then you will have made the right move. If you pick the right assets in a sellers market with cash you are most likely going to do extremely well.

What percentage of your assets are you aiming to have in cash, like 20-50%?

Depends. BTC has plenty of room left. It's been consolidating and moving in a very healthy way. That 50% correction was great for the long term outlook.

The altcoins tho? lmao, an epic dump will soon come.

wonderland TIME any thoughts? bought 1k worth of AVAX on the dip yesterday, swapped for TIME and staked. seems like even if the price drops 90%+ and the APY goes down the toilet you'll still come out ahead by holding.

No I haven't researched it at all and I don't know it all. The couple ive seen that offered insane staking returns disappeared within weeks after they popped up. They werent on AVAX so I could be completely wrong mayne. Everything that seems to go to be true usually is.

it's a DAO fork of Olympus on ETH, looked like it was worth a gamble so I threw the dice. 800x your tokens by holding for a year ATM, surely it will go down in the bear but even if the APY and token price drop 90% you still doing a few multiples on the initial investment.

BNB just dropped 35 bucks in minutes, the fuk is that?

Is this what happens when a lot of futures expire in the money?

Also there is only 10million on-chain BTC addresses, thats kind of mind blowing. What happens when that hits 1billion?

I'm in on TIME as well. Pulling in 1500 passive this week lol. Schit is insane.

SB/SD was an obvious rugpull. Believe it or not I feel reasonably comfy in TIME. The developer is doxxed and well known in the crypto community. It's the reason I aped so hard into this protocol.

God I love markets. This would be the perfect start to a bear market. Completely catch 99% of people off guard. They buy the dip because they think it's an opportunity and the gov announces some dire news to swallow the market into utter despair.

    Brutal.
