I like following history and history says another bull cycle is coming. Really hard to go against historical patterns when it comes to investing. Stock market has crashed 29 timesand always comes back. Crypto has cycles. Halving is coming. Big investors coming , will probably copy what they did to the price of gold in 04.

(Some) alts will keep mooning even if BTC just ranges between 20 and 50k for the next few years. BTC only made like 3x top to top last cycle, kek - ****ing pathetic. But there were still 1000x plays out there and more joocy 10x'ers than you could shake a stick at.

I don't think that BTC becoming less volatile (as it has been doing since the start) will reduce appetite for altcoin creation or investing.

oh there will always be that. I'm talking about crypto as a whole. there will likely no longer be a "hold on to your LINK bags for 5 years". You'll have to hit a project early that is well hyped and marketed to idiots, and get out before the dump...basically being early to a pyramid scheme.

I'm in full dollar cost average mode now with old fashioned fiat buys. General consensus is we get one more nasty dump over the next 1 to 3 months, then basically just load up on your favorite narrative into the halving.

All of my old telgram groups and discord chats have slowly begun having veterans re-enter the chat. 6ish months before the halving is when volatility returns and narratives get built for the next run. I'm not going into this looking for a 100X, just handling the 10X's better this cycle. So many fumbled bags for simply not understanding the psychology or resistance/support lines properly. You only need to 10X $10,000 two times to make a M.

It never had a sustained pump; it's been down only since launch. It spent a few days at $14 while MexC wouldn't allow withdrawals or something, and then it was listen on Kraken and tanked. I include the full lifetime chart below.

You were thinking along the right lines, but only half right. You need to avoid coins that have been through a major hype cycle or participated in a bullrun/bubble. You've never heard of KILT, it's a new gen coin that hasn't had its time yet - but it will. All the news is only just starting to emerge, all exchanges still to come, etc etc.
