It is mind boggling to me that crypto heads that have been in the space for years, I'm talking since 2017 or before, hold 0 to minimal BTC. It makes no sense to me. Even if they got fed up with cryptos or got burned by a project, they still did some deep dives and became well versed in the space. To not understand how valuable BTC is, not monetarily but philosophically and technologically, strikes me as completely idiotic. Put aside everything about the space: ICOs, NFTs, APE monkeys or whatever, the innovation that is BTC is a once in a lifetime achievement and opportunity.
The same people that walked away from cryptos in the bear market are going to fomo back in at the top. No logic to the behavior.

Me losing half a mil, and still being up.
Do you comprehend that? Like the fact I can lose half a mil in crypto, and lose 300k gambling on bovada this last month, and still it have absolutely no affect on me and I STILL am up overall significantly on crypto?
How pathetic does that make you feel? Knowing I can watch 500k go poof and literally not give a single **** and not change my life AT ALL?

Ended the period up 25.8%. This was from 12/15-1/15.
Pulling $7.5k off the D2 position to do some spot buys.
So the fund will be starting w/ $62k in it this period. I'm expecting a lot more volatility going forward or at least larger ranging. We sat in a 1-2% range for ****ing ever there. A lot harder to make money w/o much movement. Thinking this period can probably hit a 40-50% profit.

"we're back" posts means we're due for another dip. My bags have been packed since "the bottom" so I'm good either way.

It's amusing (well infuriating really) to watch the media be critical of cryptocurrencies as a grift when the western banking system is a lot more complicated and less transparent.
I give the large corporate media outlets a pass. But even the smaller independent media channels I watch and trust have never fully been able to understand and talk about cryptocurrencies. And then they jump at the first chance to criticize cryptocurrencies when a fraudster is caught. It would be like the media calling the stock market as corrupt instead of Bernie Madoff.
**** em though. These types of reactions only serve to reinforce my belief in value of cryptocurrencies.
