Should I consume whey when Im doing keto diet?

When im doing keto im eating 3 meals with 50g of proteins and 50g of fat.

If i would consume whey i would have consumed more proteinnthan fat in total namely lets say 190g of proteins

Isnt that too much of protein? Besides that i thought that whey spikes up your insuline πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

    Im confused

It shouldn't matter. For fat storage purposes, the caloric surplus or deficit within your metabolic energy equation is the only thing that matters.

Read the stickies about counting calories and finding your maintenance threshold.

You don't have to drink whey if you're already getting enough protein from other sources. Whey is optional.

It won't spike insulin if you have it mixed with it other foods...same goes for other so called high glycemic index foods.

Why should I mix whey with foods? A steak with whey on top? Or eggs in the morning with a teaspoon of whey ?

You can, but honestly it’s very easy to eat your daily amount of protein with real food.

I shoot for 180-190g when I cut and I blow over that number very easily.

Doesn't keto allow you to have somewhere around 20-50g of carbs per day? If so, you can probably squeeze in a cup or two of milk depending on the rest of your diet. Another option is a protein powder blend made up of whey and casein (such as PES Select).

For the record, milk is made up of whey and casein proteins.
