I use an app on my phone to log it, and if I'm behind it reminds me I need to.

I have a cup that's exactly 32 oz, so I just fill that 4 times a day.

48oz on average, so not enough.

I'm inconsistent with this but gotta make an effort to turn that around.

When I focus on it, 1 gallon is the goal. Some days it's already time for dinner and I realize all I had was a rockstar and like 20oz of water all day long.

Broscience usually ends up being correct but I think gallon of water is one of the counterproductive brosciences.

Unless you're barely drinking any water, hydration is more about electrolytes than water and force drinking water will flush your electrolytes.

I use a hydration mix or Gatorade packets on some for this reason, plus it gives some flavor.

The big one for me is energy levels. I feel more mental clarity and less fatigued when I drink a lot - especially here in Florida in the summer when I am sweating a lot when I cut the grass or whatever.

I also drink alcohol regularly (see username) so it keeps me from feeling dehydrated.

Electrolytes. Look up sole water. I dont think theres anything proven from the studies of its effectiveness but i see it preached about every now and then and some people swear by it.

I always have it in my cabinet so I started doing it earlier this year and i like it
