What equipment is on your holiday wishlist this year?

I'm definitely gifting myself a pair of Eleiko Oppen Collars:

    https://shop.eleiko.com/en-us/equipm...n-collars-pair

This also might also be the year I finally pull the trigger on a rackable EZ curl bar. Rep's still look the best to me and chrome makes the most sense:

    https://repfitness.com/products/rack...z-curl-barbell

I'd go with Rogue but I really want 30mm diameter. Can't afford Ivanko and Troy doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I'm not betting on BF sales but even a tiny discount would have me pull the trigger on these. I'll get the collars regardless.

Those are cool but I can't fault my Lock Jaw Elites (maybe I will magnetize them though).

I just want some more standard dumbbell plates so I can have more set up for my workout style which is similar to circuit training.

    Those collars look nice.

I have an xmark “convict” rackable curl bar. Looks like they’ve renamed it the “blacksmith”. I have zero complaints about it. Spin is ridiculous for a curl bar, and I like the black mag phosphate coating. Best part it is $90 shipped, especially for something that is unused for months at a time.

radrd, good topic! Unfortunately all the items (workout equipment wise) on my wish list are insane expensive...

I've been looking at the Kabuki specialty bars: Transformer Bar, Trap Bar HD (getting tired of the chore of sliding on and off plates on the Biotest trap bar and think the kickstand and lesser width than the rackable version could work out well) and perhaps the Kabuki Kadillac Bar (this one I'm slightly on the fence about because I already own the Reps Direct FBB even though the nature of both are slightly different and the balance would be in the favor of the Kadillac, I also don't have all the space in the world for a lot of bars/specialty bars).

I'm also thinking of getting my girlfriend the Powerblock Sport Stage 1 kit for Christmas (dodging the mistake I made with getting the complete Pro kit this time around, although so far thankfully there hasn't been any urethane cracking/tearing apart and still digging their quick adjust and smaller incremental use in my gym for now).

Yeah, I'd like some 10 lb pancake plates. I will also be buying a few pairs of chest expanders.

I'm not sure when the last time you bought weight plates was, but when I did a couple years ago they're a lot more expensive now!

The last time I bought plates they were $1.00 a pound. Same plates went up to $2.00 a lb for quite a while. Now, they're $1.68 a lb.

The Edge Fitness Deluxe Belt Squat
    https://edgefitnesssystems.com/colle...uxe-belt-squat

I plan on buying this myself, however, my parents were going to pitch in some $$$ to help with the cost. I was wanting to get the row attachment as well. With the add-on and shipping, it's looking like $1,545....

This is would be my first Edge Fitness purchase. Do they ever run any type of sales?

Edge used to run a sale every Black Friday, but haven't done so in a few years (since before COVID). Rick (the owner) was very up front about it and when he canceled the first BF sale, he also posted that Edge had no need to offer discounts to drive sales.

If you have a Chase Freedom credit card, they're doing 5% cashback when you pay with PayPal this quarter (up to $1,500 spend). I think Edge still takes PayPal.

Very helpful. I was holding off just incase they did a Black Friday sale, but it sounds like that will be highly unlikely. Fortunately, I do have Chase Freedom, so that will work out in my favor!

I'm not looking for any further additions to my set up. The Pandemic allowed me to shift out everything that was surplus to requirement for a decent price, I was also able to take advantage of some very favourable deals on new commercial equipment, I particularly got a great deal from Panatta and was able to bring some of my dream machines into the gym.

I'm now actually done, after 22 years of trading equipment I can honestly say I can't think of. a single item I'd want to change, so for the first time in many years I'm not looking for a holiday bargain, kinda strange, but I really am content with my set up.

I need 5, 75, and 95 pairs to finish my mismatched 5-100 set. At this point I'd be fine with the Weider dumbbells from Wally World, which are already so cheap that they probably won't be on sale anyway.

Basically looking for everything since I'm starting my home gym from scratch.

It's going to be hard to beat Titan for pricing. Everything I priced out comes out higher by a long shot. My list of things I want:

Power Rack (Most likely a T-3 due to price, accessories available) I want the adjustable monolift and spotter arms.
    Titan Seated Leg Extensions/Leg Curl
    Titan Stealth Leg Press attachment.
Inspire FTX - was a toss up between the RepFT3000 and the FTX, but the forum has tons of great reviews on the FTX, barely anything anywhere on the FT3000.
Kabuki Transformer Bar and Kadillac bar
    Prime Fitness Trap Bar

Possibly a Belt Squat if I can fit it in the space I have, but unlikely.
Then the basics like a good barbell, plates, collars, ect.
    6'1 - 240lbs

I have an isolateral one and it's awesome, they can be cheap too because they're weird looking and people don't like them because you can't lif as many plates since the leverage is different

One US dollar is $1.49 NZD. So, 9 US is $13.41 NZD. A pound? That's ****ing crazy. Can't you order direct from North America?

I'd go with Rogue but I really want 30mm diameter. Can't afford Ivanko and Troy doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I'm not betting on BF sales but even a tiny discount would have me pull the trigger on these. I'll get the collars regardless.
I would love to add a power tec leg press to my home gym, but the funds just aren’t there. Maybe a few more 5 and ten lb plates.

Those Kaz handles look pretty cool. Be sure to post and let us know what you think of them. I have the Rogue knurled handles with a smaller diameter that I love. The thick Kaz handles could add some nice variety.

I was literally behind getting a Kabuki swiss bar but ended up getting Arch Nemesis Bar from BoS/Canada and really happy with it. Wondering if there is any serious difference between those 2 bars. I know this Arch Nemesis bar/BoS is light but who cares if we add weight plates and also come with knurled handles

    Wow. they look cool.
Any idea if it fits speciality/swiss bar or fits ONLy standard 2" bars?
