And NO there should never be a socialist party allowed here, they should go to Cuba for that BS, but that's the problem, socialists/communists are all about total long term power and control.

But an argument can be made for others. The Roman Republic was extremely organized and efficient. Considering the technology available at the time (most of which was developed by Romans) they managed to effectively govern much of Europe and enable a high standard of living for a larger percentage of its population than practically any other civilization up to that time and for some time since. Heavy reliance on slavery would be a negative.

Genghis Khan’s government could be looked at as quite good for the people themselves (the Mongolians) obviously being on the receiving end of his armies wouldn't have been fun. He had some good principles/ideas though.

And one I have been reading about lately, the Chinese Empire of the Tang seemed pretty good. Egalitarian, Buddhist-Confucian principled, cosmopolitan to a pretty good extent. Socially and economically vibrant. Hosted one of Imperial China's few female rulers Empress Wu, who is quite well regarded today.
As you go the way of life, you will see a great chasm. Jump. It is not as wide as you think.

If his intent was to help, why would he lie about being a certified EMT? What purpose did that serve?

Ego. Can’t say why because that’s mind reading, however, if I were to guess probably wanted to feel validated and competent in helping.

More people than you realize lie about this stuff.

I like how you try an validate his lies.

If he would lie about being an EMT he could also lie about his real intent on being there, it's that simple. Once a liar always a liar.

I think his Tik Tok reflects his true intent.. He was trying to be famous

It's very obvious he wanted to be in law enforcement. This means being an EMT, carrying a gun etc.. even if his intent was to get into a firefight, based on all evidence it's looking more and more that all his actions were due to imminent threats to his life. Every adult carrying a gun that day was carrying it for a reason. Because of violent instigators.

Why does there need to be a trial to charge him with illegally carrying a gun.

Take this with a grain of salt from a damn foreigner, but from what saw initially and still later on in vids etc it seems like a clear case of self defense against criminals and thugs out for destruction and chasing the guy down. What is he supposed to do?..lay down and let the mob take/kill him or defend himself? Keep seeing all kinds of mind reading attempts as to his motives etc , but just imagine yourself being chased down...is there any other motive than just staying alive at that point? And why whould any speculations as to what was in his head even matter.(seems like major projection to me)..can't you just look at what actually happened? Seems weird to me...and maybe I'm missing something.

I just know that even myself am looking at protective gear, just to have it....as the most peaceful country has turned into the one with the most shootings, hand granade bombings, rapes etc in Europe.

No Idea, the state was the one who brought it to trial I would imagine.

I am just pointing out the obvious Lie he told about being an EMT and what he touted on Tik Tok. These are just facts that some don't want to hear obviously.

Facts true, Just irrelevant facts to this trial.

The "real" intent for being there doesn't matter when you're being chased down and beaten.

That is how the vast majority see it from what I gather, I think the jury may see it that way as well and if they don't all see it that way, it will be a hung jury, Things are looking good for him to beat this.

The prosecution (and the media) is grasping for straws on this one. The video seems to show that he was defending himself through and through. Today's testimony didn't do much to bolster the prosecution's case; the third person that he shot had drawn a pistol and was approaching the kid.

He's guilty of being a stupid teenager, not negligent homicide.

I haven't checked but did he actually use the phrase "certified EMT"? I am certified through the Red Cross for CPR, 1st aid response, accident scene management, etc. Would it be a lie if I actually used the term cerified?

Also you see whats happening to the prosecutions witnesses so far? They have actually been exonerating Kyle and the head prosecutor is actually hiding his face in his hands after some of the testimony. Example today was the guy who was shot but not killed testified he aimed his handgun at Kyle and advanced on him as Kyle was on the ground...hmm who is the aggressor?

If you led people to believe you were a certified EMT yes it would be a lie. Come on Corbi, you know this.. He was a lifeguard. I am certified advanced first aid and CPR, in fact I taught it for a number of years but I am no way a certified EMT and it would be a lie if I said I was. There ia a huge difference between a lifeguard and a certified EMT

Most EMT programs are about six months long, and to get your certification, you have to take a state issued written and practical exam. Although it’s not a license, like a paramedic has, it’s still state issued and it is a requirement to run on an ambulance. Every ambulance has to have a minimum of one EMT or higher education. It would be considered than a BLS unit. ALS units must have a minimum of one EMT-B and one paramedic/EMT-p

Its almost sad how far the media tried to distort reality. The looks of the attorneys watching the live stream is even more hilarious.

As society breaks down, there will be more of these shootings. If the society can’t provide rational order (primarily because Democrat leaders are not rational), people will police their own areas.

Eventually, like in Ancient Rome, the locals figure out that the far away capital is a bunch of lunatics and perverts and so “Why should we listen to jackasses like Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, and Chuck Schumer? Fukk them!”

These prosecutors should be embarrassed as none of what they argued in opening has been proven by their own witnesses and evidence, and has more often gone counter to the prosecution's narrative. And the gun charges really don't make any sense either. The fact that there are two completely different interpretations of the same statute that not even the attorneys or judge can figure out who is right on the interpretation is grounds for the law in this case being void on the grounds of vagueness. If legal experts can't agree on what the law means, how is a 17 year old kid supposed to know? All that would be left is the curfew charges which honestly would be an embarrassment to the prosecution if they managed to get a conviction on it, the most expensive investigation of a person staying out past bedtime that this country has ever seen.

I think that a curfew employed by any municipality is stupid, questionably legal, and ought to be challenged. Probably by those that are affected, but if outsiders wanna come join, then by all means do so.

But the fact is the prosecution decided to go after a person who fired 8 shots at 4 people, rather than prosecute 400 or so individuals, although the existence of FBI surveillance suggests that might actually have happened, without the shooting.

So sure the people there give it context but almost none of it matters until we get to the point of action/interaction with those around him, specifically related to Wisconsin's rulings on what qualifies self defense.

The only thing good in the US Constitution is the Bill of Rights. The first ten amendments.

The US Constitution hijacked the Articles of Confederation. The Bill of Rights were added four years after the Constitution's ratification to appease the Anti-federalist founding fathers.

The US Constitution preamble "We the People" is socialist in nature. There is no "We", only you and I and the rest as "INDIVIDUALS."

The US Constitution has become an ala carte menu for both dems and reps. They only pick and choose the amendments to support their agenda. And all politicians on both sides have sharted on it, just like Boe Jiden sharted in front of the pope.

Natural Rights all the way. The Declaration of Independence not only is the most important American document, it is the most important document for all of Humanity because it clearly states why MEN AND WOMEN ARE FREE.

Still arguably the best framework for a government that's worked so far, despite being flawed. Fortunately it's built in a way to be corrected. Unfortunately, since government is run by flawed people, it's been manipulated and twisted to suit individual desires, rather than the people governed. I think the founders had a pretty solid grip on the realities of human nature and set up a solid system. It's not their fault that the folks that came after them started screwing it up less than a hundred years after it was signed. The 17th amendment on it's own is a massive and fatal blow to the original system.

BOOM!! Agreed!! And don't forget the 16th amendment.

If you read the original rough draft of the Declaration, you would notice that Thomas Jefferson was actually a closet anarchist. But to your point, as smart as the Founders were, they also had to be pragmatic.

Bottom line: they gave us a Republic. We fukked up bigly yuuge and bought into this democracy goat$hit nonsense. So here we are.
