No the guy was running towards Rittenhouse and falls forward as he was shot. The issue here isn't whether Kyle shooting was self-defense, because it was, but if the self-defense was justifiable under the law - which is questionable I guess. The prosecution seems to be making the case that he was out seeking trouble by parading around in the middle of a protest with a long-gun which doesn’t allow him the defense of self-defense. Do I think that's the right way to view it? Not necessarily , but there's a case to be made. Even if kyle was the initial aggressor, Wisconsin law allows you to regain the right to self defense if you make an attempt to break off and retreat. From the videos I have seen I think the prosecution will have a hard time proving kyle went after Rosenbaum.

That should open the door to why the others were there; to riot, to commit arson, and harm others, which includes shooting them, and to “mob“ anyone who gets in their way.

What this should come down to, in the end, a concept that liberals cannot understand, is that if one individual is responsible for their actions, then everyone is responsible for their own actions. Kyle‘s action was in response to the mobs actions. The mobs action was to do him harm, they even said they were going to do him harm before they did it, and then Kyle shot them. The law is very distinct in this. There are cases in which someone says “I’m going to mess you up“, and if that person has a force greater then the person he is attacking, (size, training, a weapon, or a number of people equal and greater force then the individual) then the use of deadly force, or an equalizer, is justified.

c. Grosskreutz. Had broken a gun law when he had gone somewhere "armed whole intoxicated." Chased Kyle with a handgun.

I think he will be aquitted of the major charges. Although there’s a difference between “legal” and “wise”. The law doesn’t perfectly match up to what’s considered smart or prudent or moral, even if it’s supposed to. So acquittal doesn’t mean he made the right choices or did the right thing — nor the opposite for a conviction. I’ll be watching along to see what evidence they find that the public doesn’t know about and what convoluted legal arguments each side uses, but in my opinion everybody involved made terrible decisions regardless of the law.
