Also, I could see a lot of that money going out of the country and not back into our country/economy. Why wouldn’t they send money back to family in their home countries? Would their be restrictions on how it’s spent? Would the gift tax be applied to it if they give excesses amounts 15k plus to other family members? Do they pay taxes on it, like many Americans did with their stimulus checks?

It was me that started the Mexican thing joking with John. It was a play on an incident he had in an elevator where someone told him to go back to Mexico or something to that effect. It didn't end well for the other fellow.

As usual you are incorrect, the focus was at the southern border on land not the ocean. Trump built a wall on land. Immigrants can still come from all over and do it legally from Mexico. BTW Trump used illegal workforce.
