I was 250 at my heaviest, I have now lost 40 pounds and I am 210, I would like to be at least 30 pounds lighter... It's just getting so hard to keep up with my weight loss.. lately all I want to do is eat and eat and eat.. before I was able to control myself but for some reason or another I'm falling off the wagon, my nightmare would be to gain back the weight.. please.. help me stay motivated.
I'm a endomorph so I gain weight really easily and it's super hard for me to take it off.

Your doing better than me. I am trying to lose just 10 pounds and have been stuck at 160 for 4 weeks. People will of course tell me to cut calories more, but I'm going to try to get half the deficit with low intensity cardio.
All I can say is you made it far, 40 pound, at least half way to your goal.
I read people say you should take maintainence calorie breaks every so often. Maybe 2 weeks. Just avoid Sun chips. One I eat one of those, I eat the whole bag every time.

Yesterday I ate maintainence calories other than my early morning cardio. Today my hamstrings are sore, so I'm taking the day off and eating diet calories.
If you do need a break from your diet, plan and weigh your means. Don't open a bag of chips. Maintain for a few weeks. Don't regain.
When you stop using your gram scale and log book is when you've really fallen off.

^^^^^This. Do what ancient youth says, but only on days you feel like quitting. Don't depress yourself till then.
You came farther than I did.
Here is mine:
Oct 8: 161
Oct 12: 161
Oct 14: 160.7
Oct 16: 159 pounds
Oct 18: 161 pounds
Oct 22: I ate at likely maintainence the last 3 days after getting demoralized by no progress in 10 days. I'll weigh myself when the rain stops and start recording and weighing meals again soon. The 3 days off felt good.
Oct 23: 159
Now that's motivating. Even after I ate at a buffet. I'll definitely get back to cutting now.

i record my wait daily, it helps discipline, dont agree with those people saying monitor once a week, because you want to monitor the trend.
i lost 22 pounds in a short time, gained maybe 10 of it back and now at -15 so trying to get back down there. been yoyoing for a few years now. did pretty good this time with not regaining all of it. only regained some and maintained but yeah i have crazy cravings, my body wants to balloon back up so badly.
