    Loss of Period..is it due to exercise?

    I wasn't exercising at all during the pandemic, and my weight dropped from 125 lbs at 5'7 to 115, yet, I still got my period.

    I went back to the gym six months ago and hired a trainer three months later. However, I didn't get my period this month or last. I now weigh 124 lbs. Do you think it's because of the intensity of our trainging? I eat very well

    i would get a pregnancy test, see your dr have had issues in the past with missing your period ?

    Missing your periods as a result of strenuous exercise is called exercise-induced amenorrhea, and it is a real thing. I would pay a visit to your attending physician or gynecologist though just to discuss the matter with them.

    This happened to me and it turned out to be a thyroid issue. Ask your GP for blood tests xx

    This is fairly common both for men and women to lose their sex drive. Also it depends mostly on your body fat levels.Quite interesting how nothing happened when you werent exercising as intensely
