Vanilla ice cream and peanut butter: am I weird?

Tried this cause all we had for dessert was vanilla ice cream which is my least favorite, so I added peanut butter and now I discovered something magical.

Am I weird or has anyone else here done this before?

Actually my favorite ice cream at Baskin Robbins 31 flavors is their chocolate and peanut butter. Have seen other mixes woth vanilla ice cream, PB and like chocolate and/or caramel ribbon etc.

I had the strangest sounding ice cream from smiths (Kroger store) not too long ago

And it was pretty damn amazing





Which lead me to try bananas, chunky peanut butter, honey, cinnamon with vanilla ice cream. Pretty amazing combo. Bet apple butter or apples would be good too

The thing is, I don't MIND pineapple on pizza... but why would I CHOOSE to add it... that's the question...

It basically knocks the taste down by 1-2 points right away.

This. The thing about pizza is that whatever you put on it it just tastes great because it’s pizza. It’s like Nutella. Nutella would probably taste great even with poop. But why would you s*** in your Nutella sandwich?

There is a bar chain here that has a ton of beer options. They also have some floats. One is a vanilla ice cream with Young’s chocolate Stout and its really good(although it makes me kind of ill). The PB drink sounds good too.

Pineapple on pizza is okay, with diced ham and the right kind of day, sure I might like it a little. Not ever something I'd go out of my way for.

I don't really like Hawaiian pizza - the pineapple makes it too sweet, and the ham doesn't counter that enough.

If you do pineapple with something like jalapenos and pepperoni it balances out the pineapple sweetness more and makes it taste better IMO.

Still not a favorite option of mine - pineapple, but once in a while is a good shock to the system.

IMO Pineapple needs something spicy, like a curry or salsa kind of intensity to make it really complimentary... pizza like you said has too much sweetness

Its actually technically impossible to put pineapple on your pizza, as by definition, pizza is round bread with tomato sauce and cheese, sometimes with toppings of meat and/or vegetables.

Yup. My ex used to love pineapple on pizza, but we always liberally doused it in spicy curry (actually 10/10 food but not a "pizza" per se) or pepper flakes with hot sauce. Like I said, the spicy curry pineapple pizza was "amazing", but it's not something I'm craving if I'm craving pizza.

I've gone through stretches of eating one jar of peanut butter per day (16) oz. I put on weight but I'm much leaner now than I used to be. Lipid profile generally improved too, but that could be for a number of reasons.
