Looking to upgrade my home gym and was wondering if anyone had insight into getting equipment via Alibaba? I was looking at the following gyms from Alibaba:

I realize that most US based companies simply buy these same pieces of equipment, slap their name on it, and raise the prices 2 or 3 times.
Just curious how reliable it is to buy from Alibaba and what to expect in terms of quality of equipment?

I've never ordered gym equipment off alibaba. But I've ordered large heavy industrial equipment from there a lot. The shipping is extremely slow, like 2 months +. Customer service is nonexistent unless you speak Mandarin, even then you've gotta contact them according to their time zones business hours on wechat. No documentation at all period. I've learned to just pay for extras parts for wear parts in the initial order. Trying to get them later is just too much a pain.Originally Posted by tbox4

No, they don't. There are a lot of Amazon/eBay sellers that order the same pieces, slap their brand on it and sell for a crazy markup. However, most of the big names in fitness equipment are not using these same manufacturers to make their equipment.Originally Posted by tbox4
