It would be better if you knew what your total protein intake for the day was (and calories too) - from all food and supplements.

To answer your question, whey is the best choice unless you have a dairy intolerance. Even then - whey isolate can work.

Whey is the best powder - if you already knew that and you're looking for the best brands, I don't think it really matters. There may be different taste, textures and maxability across brands, but beyond that I don't think it will make much difference at all.

I prefer to use now sports brand, best deal on whey isolate i've seen so far. If I don't have any on hand though, egg whites will work in it's place. Lil more expensive to keep up with but more readily available.

I like whey with milk, Greek yogurt and 2 raw eggs. I use enough milk so that I can drink it once it is stirred. I use empty yogurt tubs and the lid to take this stuff to work. 50-60 grams of protein, so I like to spread it out over a few hours.

Raw eggs over the course of two hours has never caused you any trouble? I'm aware of the toilet water and raw meat escapades, but no one's invincible.

No troubles, and I've been doing this since June 1 of this year. Probably 10 raw eggs a week. Perhaps anything bad in the eggs binds with the proteins in the milk and/or whey. I also used to give raw eggs to my dog, he never told me that they gave him problems. And he was quite a complainer.
