Brexit & Covid have caused issues with foreign workers going overseas & HGV drivers not being allowed to pass their tests or get the certificates due to backlog. Distribution of food to shops has been an issue for a while & now it has started badly effecting getting the gas to the petrol stations. There is plenty of fuel-just not enough drivers to get it to where the public can buy it. Last week a load of idiots started panic buying when it became a story & after a few days of that non panicking people started having to line up at the weekend thanks to them or chances are they will not get any. What made me laugh at Tesco on Saturday where I live is everybody in the line that was stretching way back was sitting there with their engines running non-stop.

I heard a theory yesterday -
There is no shortage what so ever, there is actually a surplus left over from lockdown times where a chit tonne of fuel was not used. This fuel is now reaching the end of its life span and this media spin was created in order to cause retards to run around panic buying and therefore creating demand for this soon to expire fuel. How much truth there is to this, how long diesel/petrol takes to expire I do not know. Didn't bother looking into it.

Took me an hour to drive to the gym today (usually takes 15 mins) because all the retards were panic buying at 1pm (!!) not even morning or rush hour times. Completely blocked of loads of traffic lights and in areas where you couldnt overtake. Utter BS. People are idiots.
Saw one guy filling up his car (presumably full) and then filling up like 5-6 jerry cans in the back.
Saw another guy walking along with a really chit looking plastic jerry can and smoking at the same time which made me lol at lot

Has the vaccine gone to your head? lmao no way this **** you posted is true. The Govt is inept and you think they are smart enough to plan something like this lol
Who the heck wants to become a HGV driver? I only know one guy from my social circle - it’s not a job/career young people wanna do. On top of that hardly anyone in UK wants to work. The only people I see working in the Uk are immigrants and young men/women who have a family.
