1. Brand new to the fitness world
Join a community that keeps you accountable. Whether it be opening up to people at the gym or finding a fit-community online!
I know most people have off-days when it comes to being new to the fitness world, but nothing can get you on track then the people who want what's best for you
2. Thinks they know it all
I'd challenge that person to then try something outside of their comfort zone.
There's so many activities to do in the world now.. if a person feels like they know everything about weightlifting, then try cycling. Or try calisthenics. It may even try humbling a person, who knows?
3. "can't loose weight"
Just my unpopular opinion, but the first priority is water water water!
If it's someone that I can meet personally, then I would drink water with him/her.
Whether it be taking it with aminos/electrolytes whilst going on a walk.. or even as far as just sipping it with ice cubes since the weather is still hot.
Next step would be cutting out sugary drinks, since that's what I keep seeing most of my coworkers drink.
And the rest can be tailored to what each individual needs help on (workout, diet, sleep, etc..)

1. Take it slow - even if you survive the first week going a million, you may wind up with damage that puts you on the sideline. Results will take time, but last a lot longer.
2. If one person knew it all, then everyone would be doing his/her workout. Best to get a variety of advice and tailor it to your personal needs.
3. Pay attention to everything you put in your body, you may find little things that add up over time. In the long haul you can bring back the foods you love, but sometimes, out of sight may be the best strategy.

Brand new:
Don't over think it and make small changes. Pick one thing at a time to slowly eliminate the low hanging fruit (pop, high calorie coffee drinks, candy, etc.) And show up to the gym. Mass change will overwhelm you and there's a good chance you won't stick with it.
Knows it all:
Then why does X and X look better than you?
Can't lose weight:
Kick up the cardio. Best way I've found to drop weight is to run. Re-assess your diet and calculate your current tdee to see where you fall on the over/under scale

As a personal trainer for 10 years-- here are my answers
What is the best fitness advice you could give someone in these 3 scenerios:
1. Brand new to the fitness world
-- Aim to be consistent. Stick with a proper workout plan, and do not deviate from it-- for a year. Seriously! You do not need to re-invent the wheel. Follow the wisdom and guidance of those who have succeeded before you.
2. Thinks they know it all
-- Best of luck. I will be here for you when you need it.
3. "can't loose weight"
-- Do you know how many calories you burn on a daily basis (TDEE)? Hows your sleep? Hows your water intake? How much movement (steps) do you get on a daily basis? Getting 8 hours a night? Start there.NASM-CPT
Do not let anyone tell you that you cannot accomplish your goals.

1. Brand new to the fitness world
Be dedicated and consistent every day, it doesn’t happen overnight!
2. Thinks they know it all
There is always more to learn
3. "can't loose weight"
Calculate your TDEE, make sure you are eating in a caloric deficit. Increase intensity of your workouts, maybe add in some HIIT cardio and continue weight training
