DB Rack for Rep Hex DBs

*EDIT: I posted that the Rep DBs didn't fit on the Rep DB Rack. I made a mistake when putting the DB rack together. I caught it thanks to the picture posted below by RestoringTally. The back shelves bend up at the bottom to hold the DBs in place and the front shelves bend down (at least they're supposed to). I mistakenly installed both bending up. This works for the smaller DBs (0-50) but for the 55 lb and up, having the front shelves pointing up pushes the DB's backwards causing them to fall off the back. So thanks everyone!

A local fabricator could make one fairly easily.

Make your own. But you don't have a welder? Borrow a 110 volt mig with flux core wire. If you can caulk a bathtub you can mig weld. Same principle. Can't borrow a welder? You can stick weld with 3 car batteries, jumper cables and a vice grip plier. I repaired a bush hog in the field with that method.

Here's a picture of mine. Probably $50 in materials.
    10' 3"x3"x.25" angle iron
    10' 2"x2"x.25" angle iron
    10' 2" square tubing

Did you actually buy the Rep rack and they don't fit or are you making an assumption? Is this the rack?

    https://www.repfitness.com/weightlif...-dumbbell-rack

Since Rep says you can buy multiple racks for sets larger than 55 lbs, I would assume your 5-pair set will fit on a single rack, though I would contact Rep to be sure. I would also be surprised if you can have one fabricated for cheaper. Maybe if you can weld it yourself, but steel ain't cheap right now.

I'm assuming the racks are too wide after seeing the picture. 6 cuts with an angle grinder, move the rack a little closer to the other, 6 welds. Done. Take the rack to a fab shop along with a Hex DB. 10 minute job. Even a muffler shop can do it.

Why would Rep sell a rack that's too wide for their own dumbbells? That doesn't make any sense. I'd just return it and get a different one. There are plenty of racks for hex DB out there.

Because they would charge a "restocking" fee with a return. They make a profit on it, and a profit on the new sale. I know some landlords charge a "move in" fee with properties. It's just a fancy way of charging the consumer.

If the dumbbells don't fit on the rack then it's defective. No restocking fee would apply and Rep should cover return shipping. The site advertises the rack for use with the dumbbells. There's no reason it shouldn't work.

Maybe OP should post photos. It's just a rack. How far off could it be?

What do you mean they don't fit on the rack? Is the handle too short to fit on the rails? Is there not enough room to fit the DBs side-by-side on the rack? Is there not enough room above the DBs to get them out of the lower shelf (that is why I do not like 3 shelf DB racks)?

Exactly why can't you put the dumbbells on the rack as shown by the picture below from the Rep website?
