    Physical Activity Level

    Need help calculating my Activity Level for Daily Calorie Deficit.
    I am 21(M), 5'8" or 173cm and weigh 68 kg.
    #I do Heavy Strength Training (3sets 5 reps) 4 times a week for 30-40 mins. On these days I do 1 hour of brisk walk for 1 hour thereafter.
    # On non Gym days, I do jogging for 30mins.
    All of this is in evening.
    As for the rest of the day, I am fairly sedentary (Study)
    Am I Sedentary in general or Light Active?

    doesn't matter since it's just a rough estimate. pick either one of them, track your weight for 2 weeks and see what happens

    Pick Sedentary and start there. Err on the lower end of the calorie spectrum otherwise you waste 3 weeks finding out that you were too high plus your counting may be off. You can always add calories back in. Another equation is take in 10 calories for every LB. You want to end up weighing. That will get you there quickly. Calorie amount is a 7 day weekly average and not an amount that you may take in 4 or 5 days a week then blow it on the weekend.
