So sure, if you only ate steak and eggs, would .7gm per pound be “minimum”? probably not, you could probably gain as much muscle as genetically possible with a lower protein intake. if you had a 6 oz steak with each meal you would get plenty of leucine spread throughout the day

    this thread is great evidence

i've seen oatmeal threads on here, yogurt threads, granola threads, almond milk, etc. they all go nowhere minus a couple people throwing in a recommendation on what to add (because they're just not exciting foods).

NONE seem to draw as much attention as red meat or eggs...none, zip, zilch, zero

it's undeniable and extra comments further reinforce that, it's amazing really.

i've been here 7 months and these threads always blow up, gaining the most attention from the loyal big eaters all the way to the closet red meat lovers.

so yes, red meat is in fact special especially in this Nutrition forum. it has a special place in the hearts of those who love it and those that pretend they don't. it's almost like those that rip on it are part of a RMA group and gather here to vent. no need to make a sticky: every voice counts, the people have spoken, both open lovers and the RMA gang. thanks for doing a great job and bringing even more awareness to the rest of the community that hasn't chimed in. Special thanks to Adam for showing his passion on the subject of red meat and its importance in the community, if we ever meet my friend the tomahawk steak (or beef liver if you wish) is on yours truly!

    Beautiful post.

I cannot remember a granola, oatmeal or yoghurt thread? But I guess that just proves your point lol
