Finally started my polynesian sleeve/chest Tat.

just saying that i have avoided publishing pics - personally. long a56 story - but we have a negative person that used to scour the internet looking for us. a few of my tats won nationals a few years ago (last official nationals convention) - so the art might be recognized if anyone from the tattoo collection / appreciation / artist community might be on these boards. (not like i'm important- but the artist won a s41t ton of awards that year - him and and his apprentices swept and won almost everything they entered) it's all good tho - i'll go thru my pics from the artist or take some for the ones that don't already exist. might be a couple days tho.

I just prefer a different type of pain, like hurting muscle from lifting and super hot peppers, I like to touch hot peppers and touch areas of my body, lol.

this is a weird comment for me to read - i had my first before this movie came out too - and that means jack s41t - but as a biker family - my fam has been collecting and appreciating tats since the 70s and my prison side of the family (hahah - not the bikers, btw) have also been getting and giving tats since the 80s. maybe this is a regional thing - maybe your part of the country was different? im from the south - and s41ts been big for a LONG TIME - way before a '96 movie. but i am also willing to accept that my circumstances dont represent anything trendy - but for me - i was a kid at tattoo conventions in the 80s and 90s - so this doesnt resonate....

all that said - i will be watching that movie this weekend to see why you say so! havent thought about that one in years! thanks for idea.

Lol, btw my mom got her tats when I was like 9, I vividly remember my grand mom not speaking to her for months because of that. Yes my parents are oddballs, I’ve never known my dad to have short hair. I don’t have any hair.

My moms father had army tats all up and down his forearms, my grandmother told me every time he got a strip, he got it stripped away (I don’t know what that means) but she he was a hell raiser........

Hey BH, guys, for the record, just wanted to say that i know guys that I grew up with, in Baltimore, that the tattoo thing saved lives!!!!

I looked up one of my old homies on FB, he owns a parlor in LA now, former junkie/criminal, he uses his art skills to hire people like him, people who need to earn a living in artwork for tats, he says, yo, if your a fuk up, we want you, pretty cool.

My other friend former junky, owns a gym in Baltimore, lifting saved his life too..........

I’m going to do the same what you are doing. It will be on the chest and all the way to the arm.
I have the designs and patterns I want and will discuss it with my artist.
I want to get this process soon but not sure when it would get done since it will take few sessions.
