Please suggest me some best Dumbbell Rack/Stand

    Location: Toronto/Canada
Attached is what i have newly bought and tried some super cheap 5-tier stand from walmart & thoroughly frustrated as once put in stand, very very difficult to take it out as atleast one is hitting the above/below.
Totally i have 10 pieces & might get 2 more. So better to buy atleast 6-tier or more.
Pls suggest me some best quality racks/stands preferably vertical one considering limited space in my garage.

    thanks

Can you or a friend weld ? I’ve only seen chit tier dumbbell stands since I bought mine .
The place where I bought these was sold , and I’m not sure if they even exist anymore , but I suspect they had them built locally .
When I got them I had to buy the saddles separately , but you wouldn’t even need saddles with hex dumbbells.
It’s basically made from angle iron and side sections .
I could find out what the angle iron is exactly thickness and size wise if you want, and take some other measurements to give you an idea how to proceed .
If I needed another rack I’d certainly copy these

For a horizontal rack, my Rogue 3-tier is very good and easy to recommend, but I think you're looking for something vertical and more economical. I also have this:

Deltech Fitness 8 Pair Vertical Dumbbell Rack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GJD3TU...ZVKNFJFYNC6EQ1

Sturdy enough, looks decent, pretty cheap, and works fine for some 2.5 lb incremental hex dumbbells I kept when I upgraded to pro style. I have up to 27.5 lb hex and I think 30 would fit though I can't promise it will be perfect. The only obvious downside is the plastic protectors move around. I taped them with black gorilla tape. Seems to work fine and look good enough. There is a six pair version too that I don't have.

But i ve a very limited space & hence better if I get some vertical storage model. Otherwise i will have to look for some compact model like yours.

Looking at my Deltech Amazon rack again that I linked above, I think you should be okay with 5 - 40 lb hex dumbbells on it but I don't have them to try out so YMMV. In theory, the six pair version should hold up to 30 lbs but this is an Amazon rack not close to commercial quality.

If you want the best vertical rack, I would look at Hoist but I haven't seen or used one. It wasn't worth the price premium to me.

    Thx all.
Finally managed to buy this from a local Fitness stores here & absolutely loving it. Paid CAD-145 total. Best part is that you can take out DBs comfortably without scratching your fingers & very sturdy.
I might just buy a pair of 35 LBs & call it a day but looking for best deals
