Rocky V was in 1990. Rocky's son was still a school kid. It was 'Rocky Balboa' in 2006 where Rocky's son is a grown man with a career.
They are all good in their own way, even Rocky V. The whole 'Tommy Gunn' story is based somewhat on Mike Tyson's rise as a boxer under Cus D'amato. It is more of a family drama than an action movie like 4 was.
4 is prolly still my favourite. Best training, best music, best final battle."Honor is something that all men are born with. It cannot be taken from you nor can it be granted. It must only not be lost."

3 was great, especially if you saw it in the 80's before 4 existed. 5 was the only one I didn't like when it came out, I equate it to the Karate kid with Hillary Swank, not really part of the franchise.
You guys are just mad Clubber beat Rocky.
I'm just a white guy from the future, I'm completely out of touch
This machine is obsolete

1 was by far the best. The club fights. His interactions with mickey, specially when he takes his locker and when Mickey asks to be his manager. Paulie and even the cute date with Adrian. Apollo creed intro, his dream of just going the distance and the fight itself.
No.1 is probably my favourite movie of all time. Helps that I’m a boxer so I might be bias, but it’s 10x more inspiring than raging bull.
9/10
Only good part of Rocky 2 is the fight, kinda dragged with Adrian being a bish telling Rocky he can’t be a man and provide.
7/10
Rocky 3 was comedy but a fun comedy. Fun factor movie.
7/10
Rocky 4 was awesome. Anything drago hit, he breaks. Training scenes, soundtrack, final fight. If Rocky can change then you can change. Such a Cold War messaging too lol.
7.5/10
Rocky 5 was meh. Didn’t like the kid. Silly story of them going broke.
6/10
Rocky 6 picked it up again. Maybe 6.5/10.
Creed movies are 5/10. Jordan just doesn’t come off very heroic or likeable. Chip on his shoulder type.
