Usually when I go to Orlando, I end up staying near Disney Springs. There are some REALLY good places there. Some top notch sushi place, a cuban place etc. The Universal Orlando city walk also has some cool spots, there was a really good mexican restaurant there, i can’t remember name but there is an old VW bus out front. If near the convention center, on that main street near where the Waffle House is there was a pretty good steak house, but i would need to google to remember the name. Sorry, I usually go once a year for a week, so can’t remember names of places. But I recommend going to Disney Springs and Universal City Walk , walking around and finding what looks/sounds good to you.

Um, there is a hefty parking fee. but you get validation with purchase, and more hours with movie or sit down dinner receipt. There are also trams if staying nearby. though last time I stayed a short walk away so walked there every night for dinner.
I googled it, the Asian place that I liked was Morimoto, although the Boathouse probably has the best views. good people watching there and live music(at least pre covid) etc:
