In spite of the Brita pitcher filter, my water tastes horrible. Are there any good recommendations for water filters that eliminate the bad taste?

None. Just straight tap water. Back in February the water lines froze in my garage. So I used toilet water to make my pre-workout coffee. Took my morning shower in a vacant rental house 2 blocks away from work.

we use the earth - rural and on a well - but i hear zero is a good one - and they sell with the tester so you can actually see that the water is better....

We use a Berkey water filter with fluoride filters. The water taste better. Is it "healthier", I really couldn't tell you.
