I have the exact same feelings about Jack in the Crack tacos as the people in this article. They describe them more eloquently than I could.

I voted for what I used to like as a kid
I actually like their circular sourdough bread buns... but no way would I eat that or even the tacos now..
However, their seasoned curly fries were always legit... although terribly greasy
Also, a fast food fish sandwich just sounds... dangerous"When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

on this - i used to live in mexico - and i actually never got montezuma's revenge - from fish or anything - here's how - i received one of the best pieces of advice in my life in my first hours after moving (not normal US citizen goes to vallarta for spring break or cross at the northern border for a few hours shopping visit - actually lived for several years) to central mexico....
after ingesting a bit of non-potable water or if you eat a bit of something that might be in question - a tiny swig of mouthwash (not enough to get you silly - just enough to coat the path down and slosh around the stomach contents) swallowed - not just used like mouthwash
this goes for intentional or unintentional (think shower, brushing teeth, served at restaurant and not sure where water came from = whatever) consumption
that simple practice had me solid for YEARS of known contaminated consumption of water and various other food/beverage items and never had the bad gut. and man - i got to try some of the most incredible fish, street vendor foods, odd drinks, etc - with no fear - i miss those experiences
we live in colorado - so only sushi restaurants and *any* market that is not a grocery store for sushi when you are so far from the source of the fish....whn we lived in scotts valley - it was a little different - sushi almost anywhere would be fine....agh those days....New Year Fat Loss thread --> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180906143&p=1652695513#post1652695513

Yeah thats a luxury we have here. At my old office it looked over the bay. We could see the fishing boats come in in the morning(I started at 6AM). One restaurant called The Fish Market got first pick off the boats as they were located in the Embarcadero. And one of the company’s trucks had a sign on the side that said “Our fish were swimming in the ocean this morning”, which was literally true because you could watch the boats pull in, go to the receving station(big glass windows on the boardwalk), you could watch the fillet the fish and pack on the trucks.

ok - gave me some fomo memories - called in hubs to reminisce...like literally a gas station would have fresh sushi from the lady who brought in the extra she made - and ya - hubs worked on the coast too - i mean ocean, mountains, even beautiful big plains - good stuff everywhere - but definite advantage to near ocean living is that fresh a5s fish
same - both awesome - but both too blue and restrictiveNew Year Fat Loss thread --> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180906143&p=1652695513#post1652695513

I will probably take my vacation in Colorado this fall. There's a small town in the south of the state called Cuchara. I'd love to rent a cabin there and go hiking around Bear Lake again.
Hiking up to the snow in the summer mountains is breathtaking - and quite literally. I got altitude sickness pretty bad lol.Bench: 350

really awesome part of the state....they used to get sooooo much more snow, thoNew Year Fat Loss thread --> https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180906143&p=1652695513#post1652695513

Well, I went three times and two of them were in mid July, so there was only snow at the top. I hiked to the peak of Trinchera (13,500 feet above sea level). This is what it looks like in the summer, so not enough snow for winter sports of course.
