Taste problem in every protein powder
Hello guys,
I'd want to ask if someone had ever experienced this. And if someone can tell me a possible fix. This is the problem:
Through years, I had tried different Protein Powders. However, EVERY SINGLE time, in time going by, each of them had started to become more and more bad of a taste for me. I am talking about a situation in which at the very beginning it is like a delicious shake which I would order at a beach bar, going to 3 weeks later - a nearly sick-feeling taste which doesnt even let me finish it. This had happened every time I bought a protein, different brands, different tastes, same result... I am open to hear your opinion. Thank you!

Whey does have an aftertaste
Try some non whey based proteins or blends. I use Nutrisport 90+ which is a blend - it does include some whey but it doesn't have that distinctive aftertaste. I'm not saying it's delicious but it may be worth a try.

Sorry but there might have been a missunderstanding. It is very tasty for me in the first week I drink it, but it becomes worse and worse through days/weeks. I am not talkin about aftertaste.

No, I know what you mean, I experienced the same thing, especially with some flavours like banana or strawberry or mint choc chip etc. Now I only ever get chocolate flavour because I don't get bored of it.
But I found that it was the whey that caused the issue. Perhaps it's different for you...

If you are mixing it with water you could try mixing with milk to see if that helps if you are able to.

Well Dymatize Iso 100 has the best flavors, but the 5 pounds tubs get boring after a while. I suggest you buy smaller sizes!

I used to get tired of the same flavors every day since I didn't like throwing money into other flavors incase I didn't like them. Then I bought the vanilla flavor one day, mixed it with OJ and I've never looked back.

I'm a big fan of Dymatize protein.
You could also just buy the 2lb tubs so that you can have a new flavor every few weeks.

i thought this was all of us?
it's why me and hubs change up flavors, brands, and protein sources often.
he does the more normal gainer types - i stick to the stevia options
he does milk and heavy cream and i do water
he likes his s41t for longer than i do - all that creaminess.....mmmmm.....i like mine with a splash of heavy cream sometimes, too
all that said - the ghost chips ahoy has had me for months - those pieces of the actual cookie in there - sooooooo good.
