Foods You Love A Little of But NOT A Lot

Are there any foods you really love in small quantities, but don't like eating large amounts of? For me:

Chocolate- I love choc. chip cookies, chocolate salted caramels, Oreos, S'mores, etc. I even love having a couple squares of quality dark chocolate, but I'll never eat a full chocolate bar of any kind. I also prefer non-chocolate cakes (unless red velvet) and hate chocolate ice cream.

Cheese- Hard/semi-hard cheeses are absolutely incredible in moderation & I fuking love pizza, but I can't stomach too much cheese or I'm very quickly nauseated. I think this is a combo of being turned off by too much of the flavor and what it does to my stomach.

Egg Yolks- I really enjoy a single egg yolk (not runny tho), but any much more than that & the same thing that I said about cheese applies here.

Cinnabon- The first few bites of a fresh Cinnabon or other epic cinnamon roll are orgasmic. Finishing one, or God forbid 2, is a very specific type of Hell.

Obviously I agree with everything you posted

A couple other things that come to mind for me:

    - Pickles: I love having a few here or there or on a sandwich, but too much and my mouth/stomach gets too acidic

    - Wasabi: I bit here and there while eating sushi is great, but only in between bites without it for me

    - Caesar dressing: I actually really love the taste of Caesar dressing, but I when it’s loaded on a salad or in a wrap it seriously makes me gag.

Cottage cheese….even though it’s a powerhouse of nutrition I cant do more than a cup. And only breakstones, every other brand isn’t as thick.

Canned tuna or chicken. There’s a marked difference but they do come in very handy. Never more than one of the standard small cans. Not sure how many ounces those are.

Peanut butter. I know that everyone can polish off a jar all on their lonesome but I can’t do more than maybe 3-4 tablespoons….this is natural I’m talking about. If it’s skippy or jif I’ll do the whole jar.

Please for heavens sake find yourself an all you can eat made to order sushi joint. We have one near me that I’ve been going to for years, they charge you by piece for what you don’t eat. Nothing is off limits. My buddy and I finish an entire boat (if you’ve ever seen one of those). It’s not too expensive (not cheap other) and if you can scarf down a few lbs it’s the way to go!

Doritos. I love the taste at first but after a couple handfuls they become caustic and start causing sodium burns they are so salty.

Fast food French fries. if i eat much more than a handful I get the grease burps later.

Most sweets. I actually like the halloween “fun size” cause thats like the perfect amount for me before it just tastes like pure diabeetus.

A well-marbled ribeye steak. I love it but it's too rich and sits too heavy for me to eat a lot of. On the plus side, it means leftovers the next day.

Less fatty steak like NY strip or filet is no problem and I can eat the chit out of it

Definitely nuts. Things like almonds, walnuts, peanuts…I love them but after a while they make me sick. I prefer nut butter instead.

This. It's a really cheap source of 40 grams of protein. $1.09 a can. It tastes like beef stew. I'd been taking a can a day for a few weeks and woke up in the ICU of a hospital. You may think it is poisonous, but it is not. It is nutritionally complete. I was hit by a car sitting in the street licking my balls.

Cheese I love in small amounts when it’s not melted.

Honey I love but it gets way sweet fast, just need a little to have a huge punch of flavor

    Most Indian desserts

Nuts, as said above I like them in small amounts too much wreaks my stomach

Captain crunch, love it but it wreaks the inside of my mouth

Pies like pecan, cream pies, pumpkin, well really just pie in general.

I don’t like veggies that are grilled or broiled with tons of oil

Vegetarian meat substitutes like fake grilled chicken strips

Completely agreed on the canned tuna & cottage cheese. A few bites are good but too much is stomach-turning. I actually no longer eat canned fish even though I used to love it cuz I drunk ate too much of it late one night because I was starving and had no other options. I can definitely eat a jar of pb, natty or otherwise. "Skippy Natural" is a great in-between.

Seconded. I'd also add pineapple & coconut. Pineapple's is great but destroys the roof of my mouth. I love coconut as a flavor, but it can very easily be overdone.

There's a lot... or I say all the processed food that people love to have like pizzas, burgers, ice creams ... but have to avoid or else I'll get fat as ****

egg yolks same page, I can do like 1 hard boiled egg yolk then I’m over them. As a child on Easter me and my brother would never even touch the yolks. With scrabble eggs or omelettes I generally do extra egg whites rather than more whole eggs.

Pineapple I love the flavor of but causes canker sores and is too acidic for my stomach. On pizza it’s amazing though. I think it gives the cheese a neat texture. But never pineapple and cottage cheese. I like cottage cheese savory with salt and pepper, if any fruit it would be tomatoes

I bet they're worried since US-occupied Afghanistan has been a bulwark against their rivalry with Pakistan.

    To answer Strawng...

Chocolate was my first thought as well. I love the taste and it's my favorite ice cream flavor but the actual substance is not something I'm keen on overdoing they way I would overdo something savory like meat or cheese.

Second would be bread. I really like it but not beyond a medium portion.

I completely agree. Beyond the fact that too much bread bloats me pretty damn bad, I've never wanted more than just a couple slices. I also hate overly bready subs or even bagels...leave room for the toppings!

Kinda agree, but if I have a fresh baguette to dip in something like beef stew or some other meaty gravy I'll eat the whole thing. Same with a bunch of fresh naan/roti and curry.
