I have a slight imbalance on my right side despite it being the more dominant side. What are your best tips to grow and isolate the lateral head?
I know that the triceps are a type 2 muscle group so they respond better with overload. But I'd love to hear what everyone thinks.

You can't really isolate one particular head of the triceps, but you can emphasize one while you work the others. Close grip benchpresses, decline extensions, and lying extensions out to the side with one dumbbell at a time are handy for this area.

Some good answers above^^^.
Shadow is right you can only emphasize an area not completely isolate it.
I like the rope PD's like Elikohen suggests.
Elbows out, knuckles together at start then hands move outward in an arc motion to the outside of your abdomen/hips and squeeze hard maybe even a slight pause there each rep.

Kidna goes without saying for those in the know, but yes I'll also echo that sentiment (emphasize, not isolate). OP, the above sounds like a Tate Press if you want to look up a video. Same idea as a few of the other responses, i.e. an above-clavicle arm position + stretch. I like those too.
Lifting. Hockey. Headbanging.
