My company returned to the office around the 4th of July with a hybrid schedule (in the office 3 days per week and working from home 2 days per week).
I'm a civil engineer and I work on roadway / transportation design. I work in a small office in a building that has other small offices.
My commute is about 60 miles round-trip.
Though I don't really like working in the office, I know it could be a lot worse (having worked in a factory before, doing more labor intensive jobs, making fast food for people, etc.).
I still much prefer working from home as it saves time, hassle, energy, planning, preparation, etc.
I've noticed that it has become much more difficult to do intense exercise after work now that I'm driving so much, working in the office all day, etc. It seems like everything is a lot more effortful at the end of the work day with commute. I might try and start working out earlier in the mornings again.
All in all, it's been a big pain in the ass with having to do more meal prepping, planning, etc. I have to pay tolls along my commute too. So I basically have to pay to go to work.
Definitely miss working from home 5 days per week.

The commute to work should definitely be compensated.
I don't work for anyone but used to be an officecel . I remember how much of a pita it was just to prep to go to work. You spend an hour and a half prepping meals, clothes, shave, etc just to take a 30min drive and sit around a bunch of idiots biding their time until retirement.Short, fat, and bald crew.
Married a halal virgin hbb crew.
No baby-killers in my circle - looking at you israel.

Yeah, it takes so much extra time between packing food, gym gear, clothing, supplements, etc.
I can totally see how it would be so easy to just go to work and eat fast food and not go to the gym.
Things were looking up in May / June which is when my company decided to go back in July.
Yeah it's crazy.
Quality of life is definitely higher wfh.
Yeah we will see what happensJOURNAL: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=110936481
