It's crazy u just said that. I've been really bummed since hearing of that Michael K Williams (Omar) dude's OD death. That Omar character he created was iconic.

I watched some interviews with Michael and found him to be an authentic, generous dude. He also had his struggles and yet found courage to put himself out there in a very vulnerable way. Dude is gone way too soon.

I actually wanted to get an "Omar comin', yo" t-shirt but where my gonna wear that up here?

I have a question about the yoke you are using, is it all welded togther?

The yoke I had, the base was bolted to the uprights so every step you take the base would shake and rock back and forth, which makes it harder.

If the yoke you are using is wielded then I would say the barbell is harder for sure.

Everyone used to bitch about my yoke, they would tell me to get that SOB wielded.

It's bolted. I never looked close to see if it was tack welded or not. I never felt it move but I am pretty new at using this thing.

Mine had half cylinders at the base, the loading pins where at knee height and shoulder bolted to the uprights. The loading pins where on an angle.

The yokes I see now have the loading pins vertical on the base.

Mine had a different design, but you see were the two bolts are connected to the base, imagine only one shoulder bolt at the top, with every step the base would swing up and down. We had to near quarter squat the lift so it didn't scrap the ground while swinging. Death trap, but after training on that, the contest yoke was smoother.
