So I have been having chest pain from last night that come and go. I was thinking it was just dehydration from alcohol but I have never had it last this long. I really only feel it if I move or breathe in deep. Also my left hand has a tingling sensation. My heart rate and blood pressure is normal. I feel normal aside from the pain. I dont' feel fatigued or dizzy. I googled online and as usual the number one suggestion is heart attack. I don't have any insurance so I can't just goto the hospital. I especially don't wanna go if it's basically nothing. inb4: goto the er dumbass

All pain is first experienced above before it manifests below.
Probably has to do with how the alcohol affects your energetic system.

Of course get checked out asap but for me...I take a gas pill. Sometimes I get freaked out thinking I'm going to have a heart attack then take a gas pill and I'm fine. The other night I was reading a covid thread while my chest felt funny and it actually turned in to a panic attack but nope, just gas. One time it happened with left arm pain and it was a bad medication interaction.

have you been vaccinated recently? Could be acid reflux. My reflux causes chest pain, increase heart rate and tingling in my left arm. Any SOB? is it stabbing or a tightening around your chest? Stabbing pain just left of center close to the eso****us entrance into the stomach where acid can cause pain

Make sure you do cardio in the morning and then get lots of sleep at night.
Slacking on sleeps can prevent your heart from repairing itself. And the hard cardio builds new blood vessels and makes the current ones stronger. People's blood vessels get clogged over time because of the fattening foods they eat and no exercise and lack of sleeps.*Catholic Crew*

if you have no known health issues, no family history of cardiovascular disease, it's probably just gas or reflux. If you go to the ER, they'll just do an EKG and troponin test, maybe a CT PE. I would just monitor, but if you are really worried, you can always drive to the ER and sit in the parking lot and give it a few hours. If it gets better, go home. If it gets worse, go in.

If you can see a primary care physician at this time that might work.
If you can't get in to see a regular GP and need to be seen I wouldn't bother with Urgent Care as IME for chest pain they will probably just make you go to an ER.
For me so far chest pain has been acid reflux [if you take a tums and are all better] or related to anemia which isn't as common for men.INTP Crew

No, it's not a heart attack. At this point you would likely be dead or feeling much worse than that if it's been a day and you're having a heart attack. Also consider how much sense it makes that your heart is dying but you only feel the pain when you move or take deep breaths. It's either a muscular/connective tissue pain like costochronditis or a pleuritic pain from some lung infection, possibly viral, possibly COVID. Apply pressure to your sternum/left chest area with your hand, if that causes more pain it's likely costochronditis or some other muscular inflammation. The numbness in your hand is most likely psycho****tic from you freaking yourself out that you're dying. There's no reason to go to the hospital and rack up a $1500 bill due to lack of insurance. Take a tylenol and chill out.
Also if you die, this isn't medical advice, but you're fine.

Could be stomach issues for sure. They can mimic chest pain and pressure and feel like something bad sometimes.
Although this is exactly why universal health care would be a good idea - guy possibly having a heart attack is afraid to go to the ER because of the bill. I don't even think twice especially because I have a heart condition.

drink some la croix and burp OP...you got this
for real tho, i drink a lot of carbonated **** and certain drinks will cause big gas pockets that feel like it's my heart, so i immediately grab la croix and drink til I feel a massive burp coming and when i release that burp all the "chest pain" is gone....it's always air/gas pockets for me. i think it's acid reflux or indigestion, i forgetFounder of "Prime Minister" (srs)

Basic lab work + EKG is not incredibly expensive. Chest XR would likely be thrown in to make it more expensive. Still not 10k but enough that you shouldn't go as a healthy young male whose chest pain is associated with deep breathing and movements. Also, if you're uninsured and have to go to the hospital, you should talk with their billing department and it's extremely likely they'll reduce the cost for you, as the exorbitant prices exist because that's what they charge insurance companies.

You feel it if you breath in deep? I used to get those sporadically mostly when I was younger but rarely now too. It comes and goes. In my case it lasts like a minute then goes away on its own. Probably nothing to do with the heart but if you are worried go and get it checked out.
One time I breathed in deep and didn't notice it then the pain came on but I just kept breathing in and then it just felt like a little BLOOP and it went away lol
tldr: It's AIDS rip OPWould kick em in the nuts

No insurance ? Ok. Maybe your health is your first bet. You need to only stick to eating lean meat like sandwich beef steak and steamed mixed vegetables. Do this for 2 months. Keep drinking water and mix with isotonic powder. A few bucks will go a long way. Cheaper than buying Gatorades etc. Multi daily and every day eat a few salty chips. Like 30grams per day. This system will make you feel much better in 8 weeks. Shouldn't need hospital or meds. Don't eat or drink anything else. You can thank me later when you feel like a million bucks and 20 years younger.

probably not cardiac related based on that
Although it can be many things, one thing to be especially concerned about when you have lingering pain after drinking alcohol is Hodgkin's lymphoma.
