Time is short. Turn to Jesus Christ in Faith believing that He died and rose again for your sins that you may be saved in the day of Judgment. Read this first post.

Go fuk yourself you homophobic troll. Jesus died because he pi$$ed off the Sanhedrin. The Romans crucified him and threw his body into a mass unmarked grave. The scavengers picked the meat off of his bones. No one has ever heard from him again. There is no god. Even the last words of Jesus on the cross show that he figured that out when he cried out "My god, my god, why have you forsaken me?".

Personally I think it’s valid to interpret the depiction of god in spite of corporal understanding. I know that the mysticism and supernatural narrative says that already, but like in real life… you’re not supposed to necessarily take it literally in a physical rationale.

Unfortunately Scotty and BlackJack do take it literally. They both have stated that they believe the bible is the inerrant word of god and that every story in the bible is historical and has happened. Scotty and BlackJack have even gone so far as to say if they believed that their god told them to murder innocent homosexuals, they would. Scotty and BlackJack are cray-cray.

Ok, well whether or not you believed the events happened (supernaturally as depicted), do you only refer to real events in general scripture, or do you actually talk about what’s going on with the people involved?

    Why do we study history?

Because, it can tell us where we are going.

To ignore history is to repeat history.

The signs are on the wall. You can read it or ignore it.

    The end is near.

What I’m more asking I think is, do you actually discuss the why’s and how’s of problematic sins, or do you just leave it at god/bible?

Oh no I am very open to discuss why sinning is bad, for the now and latter aspect of things.

Is there a particular sin you want to talk about?

Alot of these BBer are gay so they tend to like to defend that one the most, but we can talk about any of them.

Absolutely, why did Jesus command his followers to sin and murder innocent people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? If sinning is bad, then why did Jesus command his people to sin? Was Jesus wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder?

That's not an answer Matty. Why are you afraid to answer a simple question? If Jesus was so against sin then why did Jesus command his followers to sin and murder innocent people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? If sinning is bad, then why did Jesus command his people to sin? Was Jesus wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder?

Next question? WFT? I'm still waiting on an actual answer. I'm not giving examples in my question for anyone's version of Jesus. I'm giving examples from the very books of the bible that you said Jesus wrote. These instructions to the followers of Jesus are actually from Jesus according to you.
I'll ask it again. I'll continue to ask it until you give an actual answer. If Jesus was so against sin then why did Jesus command his followers to sin and murder innocent people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? You are talking about commands in a book moses wrote to his people.

Here are words of Jesus in the book of John written to his people.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I know you are refusing to believe the bible has a beginning middle and end, but it does, it would be wise if you could learn to read in between the lines and figure out how the plot of the story moves.

    Theres an ol

You're trying to bring back this lie you've already been caught in once before. You've already said that Jesus wrote all of the books of the bible from Genesis to Revelation.

The commands that Moses was giving to his people came directly from god/Jesus.

If sinning is bad, then why did Jesus command his people to sin? Was Jesus wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder?
These are orders Jesus gave his followers Matty. You can't deny that without now saying that god/Jesus had nothing to do with what's written in the bible. Which is it going to be?

You've yet to answer this question: If Jesus was so against sin then why did Jesus command his followers to sin and murder innocent people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? If sinning is bad, then why did Jesus command his people to sin? Was Jesus wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder?

Are you saying that it's OK that Jesus commanded his followers to murder innocent people?

    Your question doesn't make sense.
If they are acting in lawlessness how are they innocent?

Jesus would never command anyone to murder someone that is innocent.

Jesus commands his followers to love everyone, even there enemies.

That's actually my wife's sermon for this coming Sunday.

Matty, I changed the verbiage from innocent (which is what I consider a homosexual, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week to be), to lawless since that's apparently what you think those activities are.
We know that Jesus commanded his followers to murder those people, this is not up for dispute. I'm asking you a simple yes or no question. Was Jesus wrong when he commanded his followers to commit murder?

LOL so your beard, I mean wife, is a preacher. Did she help you pray the gay away? It didn't work. You're still gay.

It's depending on your christology. If you have a high christology then Jesus was always in existence and always devine. If you have a low or adoptionist christology then he became devine either after his baptism or upon the resurrection. Considering most reputable scholars don't believe that Moses ever existed or there was a resurrection then it's kind of a moot point.

There's zero archeological proof that the exodus ever happened and no supporting evidence of Moses ever existing.

You still haven't answered the original question. Why are you afraid of a simple question? It's OK to admit that your god/Jesus was wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder against what I consider to be innocent and you consider to be lawless people. Of course that will open some other holes, like god's obviously not omniscient if he was wrong about something. If he was right when he commanded his followers to commit the sin of murder then he's not a very nice god. You'd think he'd be able to solve the utter lawlessness of homosexuality, girls not being virgins on their wedding nights, and evil people picking up stick on the wrong day of the week by some method other than commanding his people to commit murder. That doesn't sound very omnipotent god to me.

Again, this isn't my Jesus. This is your Jesus. You said he wrote all of the books of the bible.

Quit being such a coward and answer the question.
If Jesus was so against sin then why did Jesus command his followers to sin and murder lawless people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? I don't have a Jesus. We're talking about your Jesus. Stop trying to talk your way out of this. You have said that your Jesus wrote every book in your bible. Your Jesus, your bible. Your Jesus wrote in your bible that it's not only OK to murder people for various "infractions" but commanded his followers to do so. I've quoted you the passages. Are you now denying that when Jesus wrote the books of the bible he didn't make those demands of his followers? Or are you now saying that the Jesus that wrote the bible isn't your Jesus?
Again the mental gymnastics you have to go through is just comical.

If you want to believe Jesus wrote the bible, that's okay, that's actually not a sin so you are good

    Matty,
Herein lies your problem of being a habitual liar. You've told so many lies you can't keep them straight. It's no surprise, the life you're living is a complete lie.

I've already shown you the screenshot of where you do in fact say that Jesus wrote all of the books of the bible.
    Let's recap:
Me: "Wait, which book of the bible is the book of Jesus, you know the one that he wrote?"
Matty (sanctimoniously): "Um every book from Genesis to Revelation"

You need to do a better job of keeping your lies straight Matty. Have you ever accidentally called your wife by your old boyfriend's name?

Now, stop your incessant lying and answer the question:
If your Jesus was so against sin then why did your Jesus command his followers to sin and murder lawless people, like homosexuals, girls that weren't virgins on their wedding nights, or people picking up sticks on the wrong day of the week? If sinning is bad, then why did your Jesus command his people to sin? Was your Jesus wrong when he commanded his people to commit the sin of murder? Your Jesus made these commands of his people in your very bible, the one that you said your Jesus wrote all of the books of, from Genesis to Revelation.
