Local candlestick maker
Do any of you make your candlestick purchases from a local candlestick maker? nothing like great candlesticks for a nice romantic meal.
I had a great one up until 6 years ago that moved. Her prices were slightly more than the local grocery chain (Vons and Ralphs around here)but her vegan soy candlestick quality was top notch. She would over see all purchasing and low quality soy wax would ever sneak past her.
Miss the days of having access to her…it’s a drive to go to another one but this gal was within 10 miles. Still would wrap candlesticks in crepe paper.

My wife had a gift shop in one of my buildings next door to the local baker. She had salt lamps, soy candles and things like that. She'd take my black Labrador retriever there during business hours. He'd sit at the front bay window and watch people walk by. People would see him in the window and come inside to pet him. Sometimes they'd end up buying something.

i actually need to get some kind of light/candle for a salt lamp. i have the “shell” of one. it has a hole in the bottom to stick a light or candle in so that it lights up but i guess that didn’t come with it.
funny how dogs have the same stance for pooping as for humping. my stances are totally different2 time survivor of The Great Misc Outages of 2022
