Do any of you make your meat purchases from a local butcher?
I had a great one up until 4 years ago that moved. His prices were slightly more than the local grocery chain (jewel, marianos around here) but his non organic meat quality was top notch. He would over see all purchasing and nothing low quality would ever sneak past him.
Miss the days of having access to him…it’s a drive to go to another one but this guy was within two miles. Still would wrap meats in white paper.

We had one 3 miles up the road out in the country. It closed 30 years ago. My parents would get a side of beef every few months. The meat was wrapped in white paper. The butcher would give us boxes of raw bones for our German Shepherds. We always had 2 or 3 dogs at any one time. Our lawn was a minefield.
