Best gym flooring I’ve found for the $$$ (tractor supply)

    Thanks for the suggestion radrd

40 bucks per mat for these two huge mats that will not budge. And are super thick. Still have to reassemble the gym but very impress!

The ones I was looking at on Amazon were thinner and smaller about 1/2 the size and 80 dollars. Reviews complained they shifted which was my problem with the old mats. So after replacing the actual floor in all the upstairs I got new gym flooring too

I wished I went with these, but in the middle of covid they were being bought up and flipped for double.

I got the foam puzzle mats now, and I hate them. I also didn't leave enough edge gap, so the foam has been buckling from expansion. I've been fixing the buckling little by little, by cutting the edges, then using a car jack to lift things up a bit, and kicking the mat till it stretched out.

I'm still thinking of getting these, but I'm too lazy to disassemble my equipment to do it.

Don’t do it. Spend the couple extra bucks for rolled rubber flooring. Looks great and doesn’t smell.

I was thinking with the stall mats, at least I could just partially disassemble some of my equipment, and just use a jack to get them under others.

While with rolled rubber, I've gotta clear out my room, and store equipment elsewhere, while I install the flooring.

Move it from one side of the room to the other. The flooring is 3’ wide.

I went with stall mats for cost reasons a couple years ago, but the price on them as reached a point where the only cost difference between them and Regupol (when buying new) is the cost of installation. Nonetheless, I'm satisfied with the stall mats. The odor abated in about a month and I have zero issues with them moving around (packed them in tightly and the selectorized pieces keep the ones at the edges of the room in place).

Is that the 1/2" or 3/4" thick mat?

I have them on my garage gym floor.
Practically indestructible with much heavy duty training.
Over the years my metal plates have made a slight groove in the mats from power cleans and deadlifts but are holding up nicely.
A one time buy that should last a life time, good decision IMO.

Tractor Supply Stall Mats OR Regupol Rolled Rubber - only two options.

I've had two stall matted gyms and have de-funked probably 30 mats with no issue. That said, I really wish I'd have tossed or just sold the existing pre-installed stall mats and gone with roller rubber in my new gym. No way I'm swapping it out now BUT when the house was empty and no equipment set up...if only I could go back and redo that decision.

I made the call last summer when I was working four-day weeks due to Covid. Moving everything out of the basement was a pain but it was 100% worth it to get rolled rubber down. Only regret is not doing it sooner or when we first moved in but money was a little tighter then.
