If we call it «sub sub forum» it may attract only masochists though and we want to include others as well!

I am in no place to write a book! Even stuff I believed as recently as a year ago strikes me as laughably amateur. I didn't know, for instance, what RPE was until sometime last fall, have any structural familiarity with programming beyond the adage of higher weight for strength, higher reps for size (not really a black and white thing, as you know), that CICO is an essential and trustworthy principle that nullifies all the gimmicky pseudoscience nutrition, nor know more than very little about the mechanics of metabolic processes such that I can scrutinize the "tried and true" advice that seems to reward diligence for everyone.

Right now I am simply trying to be faithful to the basics across the board without veering too far into any extremes. I have a few talking points of course, as everyone does, but that's more substantiated by experience, observed and anecdotal, than anything else, and therefore held somewhat tentatively.

This forum and the many knowledgeable people on it has been quite helpful in dispelling a lot of bro-science I had previously endorsed.

Film your lifts on YT, go on a solid cut, slather yourself in tanning oil, & set up a nice IG photoshoot. These are what sells (e) books, not scientific rigor

I gave up being a slave to these macro-calculators and went back to eating whenever my body says "I am hungry, eat".
This is what I did yesterday and I won't go back to force eating, giving me miserable moments just to please those calculators.
I wonder who developed them in the first place.
