What is your favorite lift?

Stad running the show again!

This stage of my life I'm not consistent or agile enough for heavy lifting so I've been trying to mix it up as if late. Just got a new sand bag and that's been fun throwing around.

My favorites lifts are the ones that give me a juicy pump. Specifically a chest pump or anything with biceps. I love flat bench press, DB press or BB curls!

My favorite lift is Leg Press

No matter how I feel (either 5am lift or after an exhausting day at work..),
I can take my time with the warm up; and rack up the weights with rising expectations
-if I aim for 10 reps for max rep, I can rest-pause to finish it off.

Squats! PRing each week. Oddly, upright rows seem to give me the most "pump" feeling. Every time I grab the dumbbells for OHP I think of Arnold, which is just funny on its own.

I train at home and with the equipment that I have at my disposal, nothing feels better than hitting some barbell back squats on my leg day. Without access to a leg press machine, the squat is my primary leg exercise of choice as I've grown to love doing them. And by love, I mean hate, haha.

Favorite lift?

Cable tricep extensions. I could do them every single 'push day'... they're amazing. From a flat bar, rope attachment or single arm variations, you have so much versatility in one movement.

Best part is that I can instruct 99% of PT clients to be able to perform them too. A wonderful exercise.

Deadlifts were the fave when I was in the gym regularly, looking at getting back in there now!

Cardio, mostly - used to do some light lifting, but fractured my elbow a few years back and never really got back into it (and the gym closed). But hey, I pulled out some cans from the cabinet and did some lifting today, so....the thread did inspire me. Baby steps...

Strong improv skills. Gotta get a pump no matter where you are!!

The exercise that I've found to give my biceps the best pump thus far are incline cable curls. Once I am a bit warmed up, I'll hit these with a full stretch and tight contraction and the result is the best arm pump I've ever gotten. The cables keep the tension on my arms the entire time and I find these to be better for me personally compared to doing them with the dumbbells.

Cable curls used to be my jam at the gym, probably the thing I miss the most now working out at home only.

My favorite lift since I started is still the flat bench press! One of my proudest accomplishments in lifting is that I’ve been able to hit 405lbs on bench since I’ve been 20 years old

I'm all about the Curls for the girls haha.

But really my new favorite lift is on back day. I like to use a trap bar and put it into a landmine attachment and do rows with it. Hits the back really nice!

I have to come clean. Sometimes, I don't bother mixing the powder with water. I get a spoon, and I eat. It totally reminds me of fun dip with a kick.
I suppose if this is my one vice, I must be doing pretty well

Now I'm curious, do you do this with multiple products? Dry Scoops of pwo is kinda common but you do BCAAs and Protein too?
