If yes, were you worried about any of the side effects or were you not bothered?
If no, why not or are you still debating about getting it done?

I am going today to get my first jab done... Pzifer it will be. I was offered it 4 weeks ago but hesistant to get it done and been mulling it since and even before about whether I'd do it or not. I'm 35 and don't think I'm at risk at all so I've been hesitant and thinking nah, I don't need it, I'll pass. But then on the flip side I'm thinking what harm can it actually do? It's basically a flu shot, if I get it and be done with it won't have to worry about whether I should have had it later.

I decided to take a vaccine after a healthy friend, in his late 50's, passed away of covid. I got the Pfizer vaccine as soon as it was offered to my age group. No side effects after the first dose other than a mild sore arm starting about 6-8 hours after the injection. Soreness lasted 1 day.
Recieved the second dose 21 days later with the same mild soreness in the injected arm. I had some mild body aches in my back and neck after the second dose that left me feeling blah. Body aches lasted 1 to 2 days.
I respect anyone's choice not to get one of the covid vaccines.
So many unknowns with this virus, I can understand the opinions of both the panicels and the conspiracybrahs.[]---[] Equipment crew member #51 []---[]

I'm from India and I've taken Covishield vaccine. For side effects, I did had. For two days I felt like i'm having hangover. (I haven't drunk from past 5 to 6 years) I think it differs from person to person. I've heard that, some gets fever and some don't feel anything. So, you can't be sure. But, you won't have to worry much about it. Overall it's safe.

Drink a ton of water on the day you get your shot. A TON. Everyone I know, including me, who did this had no side effects except for minor soreness at the shot location. I didn't even have soreness with my second shot. I had Pfizer.
Hey, this is my first post here in YEARS. I don't know what made me come to this site today, but it's cool to see some of the same folks still here. Yeah, I still train.

I'm in UK. I had 2 doses AZ my wife's had 2 doses of Pfizer, just because that's how it worked out.
Stop worrying and JFDI... just get it done, there's so much nonsense about you can be excused from some travel quarantine or isolation or this that and the other if you have both jabs, so much pressure to do it, just get it done. I felt slightly ill briefly after both jabs especially first and I missed 1 gym session each jab due to it but it's worth doing
Edit: my wife had Pfizer and wasn't ill from either of themLast edited by OldFartTom; 07-07-2021 at 12:49 PM.

My wife and I both got the Moderna flavor once it was available. I had the same side effects both times....sore arm for a day and felt kinda washed out for a day of two. My wife, however, got the sore arm and every other side effect listed but only for a half hour for each. Thirty minutes of headache, then 30 minutes of queasy, then 30 minutes nausea, then the next and the next till they were all gone. The whole ting lasted about a day or so for her.
I took a nap.

Moderna, 1st shot nothing, 2nd shot really sick for like 20 hours. There's certain foods I can't eat now, like ribs. Appetite is gone, drinking a lot of shakes, take 3 bites of dinner and it's work to finish and I never do.
It's funny, the night after my 1st shot I had a huge prime rib dinner, hope my appetite returns.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

2nd dose of Moderna was 3/30. Sore arm both shots. 2nd dose caused a day of lethargic feeling with a body temp of 101 in the evening.
That's it. Kinda wish I had Bando's problem so I could drop the 10-15lbs extra I currently have hanging around. You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

I haven't taken it yet, but I certainly will. I know many people of different age groups who have taken AtraZeneca, Pfizer and other vaccines and have had no complications.
At most, they had symptoms of a common cold for about 2/3 days. I think that any side effects are compensated by the protection offered.
