The amount of useless, lazy, good-for-nothings is insurmountable. How hard is it to be responsible, to take hold of yourself, go to school, get a job or get a trade?1 Don't commit crimes, improve on your skillset, invest, and grow! Especially the men, when I see a dude that's homeless, improperly dressed, fat, or is just being a burden on society it generally pisses me off.

You're a fuking idiot. There are many reasons someone may be homeless, some of which may be beyond their control. The same for someone overweight or improperly dressed, this shouldn't bother you either. If these minor issues piss you off so much why don't you climb down off your high horse and volunteer a few hours and make a difference in society instead of being a pathetic little bitch complaining about it.

The definition of "homeless" is so broad. Statistics are always expanded so that the one time some single mom got evicted and had to sleep on her friends couch for a week before she found a new place to live counts as a "tragic tale of homelessness".
Whenever I see a dirty man who's lived on the streets for years, it's often due to mental illness, drugs or a conscious lifestyle choice. They often don't complain about society not taking care of them, however they will naturally be drawn to areas where it's easier to live their desired lifestyle.

You won't believe the number of times I've seen people wear a business suit with shoes lighter shade than the suit, or mixing stripes with checks, or a tie lighter than their shirt, or a shirt with single cuffs and a top pocket in a business meeting.
Absolute scum. We should judge people harshly for not following the rules

I guess we all have what you call pet peeves - mine are slightly different though and I only hate 1/3 of society. Nowadays, many ppl over here behave completely differently in many small ways than when I grew up. Couples and groups take up a whole wide sidewalk and don't move an inch even for an old lady on a bike etc...on a short walk I come across this 3-4 times. In other countries, folks move a bit but not here. Second is people getting on busses - they flock like starving predators in front a newly fallen prey at the doors, salivating at the thought of finally getting to sit down, barely letting ppl get out first. It's like they all changed into animalistic robots. I'd like BH to visit so he could slap some sense into these ppl or NG to show them the gentle peace inducing nature of goats. But when so many folks are garbage, it also makes you appreciate the good ones more.

Unfortunately true. I listened to a session today for Örebro county, and one honest politician who always ask real questions asked all the others why they still fund islamistic pre-schools with tax payer money, even after having received warnings from the security police...and all the establishment party represantatives where just dead silent. Absurd to watch tbh...noone wanted to answer any questions about this...so the round of questions went back to the guy with a backbone who just kept asking them to pls respond...and was just met with dead silence again. This was just one of many such events I witnessed. The thing is all these virtue signalling politicians are basically upper middle class getting a fat paycheck from tax payers and won't do a thing until their own neighborhood is affected, which won't take long I reckon. We now lead the EU in gun violence, rapes, gang violence etc. Still half the country pretend like it's all fine...so weird to see.
Another really bad situation, occured at 5 different homes for elders...and isn't covered by mainstream media....where they moved them out/put them on the street basically saying there was something "dangerous" in the building (which was disproved after asking the owners of the buildings) ...then after a short while they moved in young guys from Afghanistan instead. I'm not opposed to helping any ppl in need but this way is just disgusting.
The thing is that in the 70's they changed some laws etc... so that parties get direct funding from the government (instead of party members to whom they would be held responsible) and they got rid of a law that made it possible to hold any officials responsible for their actions...so this establishment segment broke away from the ppl in a sense, gained immunity, and must stay loyal to the party line in order to keep receiving those big checks. Something has to give eventually but I fear it will have gone too far by then.
Sry misc, wont bring a bad vibe anymore - just these are some major things that I can't vent many places without getting labled something rather nasty.Last edited by steffo99; 06-16-2021 at 04:34 PM.

I know and thanks for what some are trying to tell me (if I'm not totally off)...just hard sometimes when something you love and took for granted for so long seems to be falling apart in a way. I will focus more inward rather than let some of this stuff affect me this much.... already looking into possibly moving out for a bit and getting a new start and fresh perspective. Had it been previous centuries perhaps one could actually fight for something but today all one can do is cast a vote and hope for the best I guess.

Steffo Dude, you're so freakin' close to being above your thoughts and seeing them for what they are. Patterns, categories and judgements constructed over time creating a conditioned mind, with your ego (not yours specifically, but in general ) driving the bus. In some cases, a short bus.
Anyways, it really comes down to one thing: Choose love or fear. That's freakin' it and it's always a choice that we gotta own to even have a shot at putting the "being" in the human.
Or whatever...
oh, and TS Dude, nobody on this planet is good for nothing. Pull you're fuking head outa your ass, dip$hit, and stop being such a pussy.
Unless you're a troll in which case; not bad. 6/10.

I dunno, my instinct has always been to protect in a way..especially those who can't fend well for themselves. It's easy for us here on a forum to kind of say to look the other way to some things and relax, whatevs man, but I can't help thinking about those that unnecessarily cruel things happen to, year in and year out, (skyrocketing rapes etc) and not feel a bit of how extremely ****ty it must be for them. Maybe in other nations, it's been more of even trends so it is what it has always been for you. But I am more reacting strongly to the extreme change here. Not even other females stand (on average by the way they vote and act towards victims on social media) up for them. I should be one of the ones putting an end to this. What kind of a man am I if I just waved all this away. And also seeing something you feel proud of..that your ancestors fought..died and struggled for go rather south in a hurry is not the greatest feel. So with this and, although not a long, military service that instilled more of these settings in me...it's hard seeing some of this play out ...but I suppose if this it what people vote for then maybe I should chill out a bit and let them have what they asked for and find a place I like and feel more at home with. I suppose that's what I should do...but wish I could have a simple option to stand up and do something else in a sense.

Steff Dude, it's truly clown world as they say in the misc. So Chaz sayz lighten your cerebral load and step out of your mind. I could say a bunch of $hit and nobody wants that. I humbly and sincerely suggest you check out some Elkhart Tolle, brother. If you're interested, you can start with this:
and there's no simple option. Not for you, Dude.

Over 1/3 of the homeless population suffers from serious mental illness (most commonly schizophrenia). I'm not sure what being fat or "improperly" dressed has to do with anything. There are plenty of independent, successful, incredibly wealthy people that are fat or spend their entire lives dressed in jeans and a tshirt. Wtf cares? Grow up and try to use what little sense you possess.
