I absolutely LOVE hot sauce: Sriracha, Franks, Texas Pete, etc but am tired of everything tasting spicy. I broke my leg 6 months back and had a lot of atrophy, lost about 8-10 lbs. So I'm trying to put that muscle back on and do it leanly, but I can only cover so much food with hot sauce. Need something new.
Mustard is decent but not my favorite meal after meal. Salsa is good on eggs but bit limited what I can put it on.
What's your favorite? I need some new sauce to smother my food in.

One of my favorite sauces on chicken hands down is Chakas Mmm sauce. They also make a sugar free version but i can’t vouch for that.
Also most marinades will flavor your food and burn off on the grill.
Use smoke chips and a smoker box on your grill. Apple wood smoke, mesquite, hickory, etc will all flavor your food with 0 calories.2 time survivor of The Great Misc Outages of 2022

The Sprouts low sodium/lower sugar ketchup is honestly no different in taste than 'normal' ketchup, and it actually doesn't even have artificial sweeteners which is pretty nuts.
That being said, I probably consume like 80-100 calories from ketchup + mustard + sauce every day.
Now, at the moment I just DGAF about calories in general, so, i'm maybe not the typical use-case, but if I HAD to worry about it, i'd just use the lower sugar ketchup, mustard, and hot sauce really..."When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

Mayonnaise, ranch, bleu cheese dressing and horseradish are all delicious to add IMO if you're bulking and calories aren't so important.
I know you said you're tired of spicy, but non-fat Greek yogurt and hot salsa stirred together makes a delicious sauce if you just want to douse your food.Bench: 350

Idk, man. I prefer many things without sugar or even with artificial sweeteners cuz I'm weird like that, but I think ketchup's one of those things that just tastes better with sugar. I'll talk your word for it though since you tend to have good taste
Also, for the love of God, please tell me you don't personally use that ketchup. As a card-carrying member of "team ketchup" on a bulk, you'd need a srs kick in the ass for that bullchit.
For some reason I've never thought of this, but it sounds absolutely amazing! I've gotta try that ASAP.

^^ Yeah, I used to mix it with mayonnaise but compared to the Greek yogurt it's kind of filmy, way higher calorie and doesn't compliment the flavor very well. Thanks to Adam I decided to buy Greek yogurt in the first place and found it's an awesome base for so many things, refreshing and cuts the spice excellently in this case, while being a good addition of protein.
It's awesome mixed with this salsa: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/00...g?v=1621519512Bench: 350

Despite the label and selling point it's mostly tomatoes and jalapenos. (The ingredient list puts the ghost chili after both of those and also green peppers.) It is really hot though. For a white guy my spice tolerance is probably above average but someone accustomed to really spicy food may not find it ridiculously hot. I don't tend to have any digestive issues from it and I eat this stuff regularly, but could just be me...
All spiciness aside, the flavor is incredible.Bench: 350

-Italian dry dressing seasoning mix plus a good quality balsamic literally can put on so many things
-non fat Greek yogurt plus ranch dry seasoning mix
-Heinz 57 sauce
-hummus /garlic hummus
-tzatziki
-Baba Ganoush, egg plant dip 25 cals per 1/4 cup
-miso paste
-nutritional yeast
-many marinates work well and are very low
-enchilada sauce
-fat free sour cream with onion soup seasoning
-kimchi /gochujang paste
- Chutney (many different types mint-cilantro is my fav)
-Chimichurri
-Raspberry Chipotle sauce Fischer and Wieser
-gravy can work well too for fries, veggies, meats and rice. I use a mushroom one but 1/4 cup of Heinz Homestyle Gravy, Country Style Sausage, is 35 cals. Reminds me of Dairy Queen.
Oh BTW Sriracha has more calories and sugar than ketchupLast edited by snailsrus; 06-13-2021 at 10:37 PM.

not me heehee I use sriracha like ketchup lol.
I am soooo glad restaurants are giving back bottles of condiments rather than packets. Same with salt and pepper shakers vs packets
Brb here is 2 ketchup packets and 1 mustard packet, 1 salt and 1 pepper packet for your veggie burger and fries. I almost diedLast edited by snailsrus; 06-13-2021 at 11:32 PM.

Oh, I’m with you 100%. I use my Sriracha exactly as much as I use my ketchup, & I use my Sriracha & ketchup like soup. As an aside, “Sriracha Ketchup” is absolutely vile. It’s WAY too sweet. They’re 2 great tastes that REALLY don’t go well together.
I’m also happy about the change with restaurants. I always used to have to tell restaurants to bring me the whole bottle of hot sauce.
