Thumbs down Yoga when I’m sore?

I over did it early this week and my quads and glutes are really sore. I have a yoga class scheduled for tonight. Should I go or will it make things worse?

Did you go? I think if you can't do the yoga poses without a lot of pain, you shouldn't do it.

    A little late..

I often go to yoga an active recovery session. In any class settings it‘s important to listen to your body. It may sound a little egocentric but: you are there for yourself, so you choose to what degree you participate.

What type of yoga do you do? Vinyasa, Power yoga or pilates-style yoga would be a bit more taxing than for example hatha or yin yoga.
