Say for example they need $4400 a month, can rely on $740 as of now, another $1000 in airbnb and $640 in woodworking, putting them about $2000ish short of that
Thoughts on legitimate ways to bridge that gap

1. Lower your expenses. Create a budget and cut out the crap you don't need.
2. Become debt free. Mortgage is only acceptable debt and it should be less then 30% of your expenses.
3. After the first two. Figure out how much money you need to actually live on. Then figure out a way to generate that relatively passively. IE Air BnB, a rental property, etc.
$4400 per month is about what someone who makes 65K would take home after taxes right? Or in that ballpark. Do you actually need that much to live or is that what you want to have a comfortable life? That's a super high living expense IMO.
To put things in perspective. My grandma lives on around $500-600 per month. Paid off house & car. Is frugal with utilities. Stays debt free. Eats lightly/cheaply. Etc.

Like everyone else said, I would try to lower your expenses. Can you get it down to $3500? My expenses are about $2000 but I'm a single guy with no kids though
Another thing is that it's easier to work part time than it is to quit completely. Would you be able to switch to part time at your current job, or find another job that lets you do part time?

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

1900 is the bare minimum. I'm not including things like entertainment.
Paid the house off and live in a republican as fak low-property tax area.
COL here is also low.
The breakdown: 500 utilities(with internet and cell), 400 house taxes/insurance, 100 auto(gas, insurance), 700 food, 100 clothing, 100 house maintenance
I might be cheating because I'm not including the medical insurance or retirement that comes out of my paycheck.Misc Entrepreneur Crew
