    Lack of motivation??

So I am facing problems that I never use to have. I am really struggling to keep my motivation through a work out. I go in in gung ho but about 30 mins in I just kinda lose my desire to be in the gym. I currently work out alone in my garage. What are you all doing to keep motivated or keep energy up.

I am in the process of cutting. I am eating between 1800 and 2200 calories a day with a goal of 200grams of protein. I am currently 6'2 275 lbs down from 305lbs body fat is 30%+. Could it be the lack of calories? I was running my cut at 2500 calories but was not losing weight. I work a very sedentary job.

Yes, lack of calories. When I'm cutting I start losing steam 30-45 into a workout. Finish with some isolations. On maintenance I'm good for 90 minutes +
I also like a small carb or sugar snack during my workout, but not while cutting. I just suffer while cutting.

    Pretty big deficit you’re running.

Maybe look at ways of keeping your NEAT higher to ensure some more food can be eaten.

Also losing 30lbs is really good.

Depending how long that took, You may be due for a diet break for a few weeks before trying to go hard again.

Also I’d highly suggest you aim for more protein. 200 gram at 275 is under the suggested minimum amount of protein to maintain muscle mass while dieting.

225 would put you at the minimum of .82g/lb of BW.

So consider moving your macros around a bit and upping calories a tad for a while.

You’d be better served increasing step count vs hammering calories lower.
the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.
