But bruh, you know Genesis. Pull up The Yes Album, Close to the Edge, maybe even Tales from Topographic Oceans (that one is like 80 minutes long and only four songs. You either LOOOOVE it or really, really hate it.) and be prepared to be blown away. Intricate vocal harmonies like Genesis, odd time signatures throughout. Dynamic key changes. Steve Howe is a genius, ded srs. Chris Squire plays a Rickenbacker like no other (RIP). Bruford pounds the skins like a misc. incel going into his first piece.

everyone likes different things. not everyones idols or rock gods or favorite entertainers,books,video games,tv shows,movies etc will be the same. BUT there are some things that are just written down as facts that we go by.by which all things are compared to. Rather we like it or not. I personally cant stand the Beatles. Very amateur musicians. Vocally nothing outstanding. writing only pulls so much weight if you actually care or connect with what the lyrics are about. Stones kill the Beatles for me. never liked Pink Floyd or Grateful Dead. Queen destroy them.BUT again just my opinion..
