Today I am thankful for
1) when I was doing bench press this morning at local gym, a guy put 2.5lb weights next to me. I am thankful for this because I don't have to look for small weights
2) communication with my business partner is good last night. We decided to look for a new place to open an after-school. I am grateful for the good communication and look forward to the partnership.
3) good book. I listened to a good book lately that inspires me to push myself harder and stay more focused towards my goal. I am grateful for the book.Nonfiction Fan

Today i am thankful for
1) my new student. He listened to the trial class yesterday and told me he likes decimal. He never learned decimal before. It brings me happiness to hear my student likes the subject I teach.
2) my wonderful son. He went to bed early last night and woke up early before the alarm. His independence makes my morning easy.
3) My new red dress. It's beautiful and makes me happy. My friends said it looked good on me.
I am thankful for God's blessing.Nonfiction Fan

I’m thankful that immigration has not deported me yet for my pro-freedom, anti-tyranny views. Taxation is theft. Gubmint is evil. There. I said it.
I’m thankful that my groin itch was only flea bites and not chlamydia that someone spread at the gym shower rooms.
And I’m thankful for serious threads like this on the O-35 section. This special section full of special ed type AARP members are a twisted bunch. This above all..
To thine ownself be true..
And it must follow, as the night the day..
Thou can'st not then be false to any man..

I'm thankful I calculated correctly and will have enough bacon to last till Friday - the next food shopping day. Seriously, that's a big thing cuz I'm not great with math; especially when it comes to bacon.
I'm thankful for this place and the people here who have directly and indirectly helped inspire me to actively pursue vitality and optimal "life" perspective vibes.
I'm thankful for the peeps who "get me" and realize I'm mostly harmless and just a goofy, well-meaning dude from up in Canadistan.

I echo eomrat's gratitude that the little kids in the big misc got their section back so they can continue posting about "sloots" and other nonsense without burdening the O35 with their idiocy.
I am thankful that NorwichGrad did not post pics of his groin problems.
I am thankful that I don't "get" Chazwood and that I can clearly see him for the evil subversive bastard that he is.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

abso-F-ing lootley. I have my own idiocy to unload on this Misc and there aint enough room for all of us
agree!, we must count our daily blessing, some of them small ones but some true deliverance like that. I feel bad for the fleas though
I think that's a pretty fair appraisal, that's exactly what I like about him

I'm thankful for this warm sunny day, it's been cold like forever here and it's really nice not to have to put three layers of clothes to feel confortable.
I'm thankful my new dress pant that got delivered this morning fits really well.
I already have one a size up, different color, good on the thighs but a bit loose on the waist.
Ordered a size down and it's tight on the thighs but still ok and the waist is perfect.
I'm thankful you made this thread, let's keep some positivity going on.

It's not - but that's the point.
Mostly everyone feels grateful about the big/deep things which depending on perspective are pretty infrequent. There's an idea to learn to be consciously grateful for the little things. Otherwise we can end up only considering bad things and overlooking the good ones. Not saying we shouldn't include big ones doing this, just don't dismiss the little things.
OK, my previous post was a bit of a non-contribution but wasn't negative so but don't be Mr Grumpy on a positive thread. Or OP will ask you to go stand on the bottom step of your stairs facing the wall for 5 minutes and think about it

Kaz, the cats are so cute!
Thank you Jreacher =)
I like to read other people’s grateful post because it makes me happy.
Today I am thankful for
1) safety. There was a mass shooting in my city yesterday. The shooter burned his house, shoot 8 people, and shoot himself. It is very sad, but when I look at other people’s loss, I am thankful for my life and thankful for the safety.
2) flowers and vegetables in my garden. When I look at the roses in my backyard, it gives me hope that my life will be better. So I am thankful.
3) My dog. My dog is a beautiful mixed white terrier with some black spots. Kids love my dog and always ask to pat my dog when I take him to the park. I adopted my dog from my friend when he was less than 1 year old. He rarely barks, mellow and friendly. He will lick your hand and your face if pat him. He never barks at other dog, but when people comes to my door, he will bark. He brought me and my son a lot of happiness.

I love these posts about gratitude. They make you see that not everything is so bad. Well, I am thankful for:
1- Harvesting herbs and spices from the vegetable garden I built with my own hands.
2- Getting over the loss of my cat and adopting a new one last month.
3- Buying a new washing machine (I didn't know I would feel so much difference)

haha! There is just no fooling you. I've been working the long, long, looooooongass game and would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids!
and Dude, you should totally write a book. I'm serious - social commentary spiked with wit or the like. I bet you would write a killer book!
Dude, you make me want to visit golly 'ol England.
and today I'm grateful that my OCD appears under control lately. Thanks Eckhart! haha
and I'm grateful to finally kinda sorta feel like I'm on the right path.
and I'm grateful I'm not a flea!

Grateful for
1) woke up early and finished morning workout. Increased my squat 10lb today. Grateful for the progress.
2) book, it reminds there are so many people that are better than me and there are so much for me to learn from them.
3) my new student. I had a student tried my class, but he logged off early. Later on his mom said, " He still wants to come to your class. He must like you." I was pleasantly surprised and grateful.Nonfiction Fan

- awesome workout yesterday (I still only do about half of what Kaz does, but it's awesome for me)
- started a new book a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. Just a great way to finish my day, reading in bed
- my small vegetable garden is doing well and we finally got rain so I don't need to water it. Plus, I just love rainy days.

I always envy you two, not that I want your husband's sweet kiss.
Yes, we all definitely will and no one's left behind.
Workout, books and family, we have a lot in common as always. while I don't know anything about growing vegetables I know a lot about enjoying seasonal flowers thanks to my mother.
Good old BB.com had so many friends like you once, always encouraging others who were trying hard to improve themselves. That's the very reason why I joined here in the first place.
You are a great asset to BB.com and a great companion for both intellectual and physical challenges.

I know I'm repeating it again, but I'm thankful and grateful for the great friends here. *bow*
