I'm just beyond novice in weight training. What keeps me motivated is going to see dudes/ladies I talk to all the time which is my only human connection outside of work (I work nights alone). Also, the most motivating for me is to see the overweight or undersized people that are there putting in the hours and really trying. I keep reminding myself that they finally had had enough and are doing something about their situation and if they can do it, so can I.

Why do you want to be motivated to do something you don't want to do or is not a priority? It doesn't make any sense. I mean I understand wanting to be healthy but you don't have to be a bodybuilder or weightlifter to be healthy. You can just do the minimum exercise and eating habits to stay healthy.
