My boss throws an annual spring party in May. Lots of fun, food, and booze.
Some of my coworkers and I got hammered before and arrived drunk and kept drinking. I blacked out and don’t remember much.
I woke up today to an email from my boss saying I’m going to have an important meeting on Monday with regards to my future with the company. My coworker told me it’s because I got so smashed at one point I pissed on the bonfire in front if everyone and made a big fuss.
I just got this job and now I’m probably going to lose it over a silly mistake.

bro unless you rub elbows with upper management both in and out of the office then you always keep your space and keep it professional. your invite was probably formality alone.
but you went in thinking you were part of the pack and let yourself run wild. consider yourself lucky you operate on the lawful side of things, in certain areas, groups such behavior/lack of thought could cost you more than just your job.
next time. go to make an apperance. shake hands, get the pleasantries out of the way and then go home."it takes a wise man to know when he is in error and a noble man to admit to it"

Oh lord. The Navy was the only time I got smashed (repeatedly) in front of co-workers and higher ups and did some pretty stupid things, and I somehow managed to get away without any NJPs (Non Judicial Punishments - and to be clear this isn't your old school Navy, they're much more Draconian about drunkeness now), but boy...yeah I wouldn't want to push that line again.

A company I worked for a while back, at the Christmas party one year, one of the guys in maintenance got drunk and hit the CEO's car on the way out. Then he tried to drive off hoping no one noticed...
I'm #12 in Y2J's "club"...and I'm scared.
This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.

LOL at Americans using their company emails the next day on weekends. Losers.
You'll be fine. sadly what retard hosts a boozer in 2021.
IF you make you feel any better I know a guy who pissed on a woman at a Perth bar in the city and works in the US in upper management 15 years later.
These were different times though.
