The ironic thing is a lot of these wives used to work such public service jobs before they hooked up with a very successful man

Because those that have made it themselves by putting the work in - entrepreneurs, business professionals, doctors, etc. know what it takes to get there. Know what it's like to be chit on. Know that you get more from being nice to people than being a dick
