Terrible take.
Roman got the absolute best out of these players.
The players have to progress.
Roman can’t come up with a fantastic scheme that fits his QB unless his QB is capable of running that offense.
He maxed out Kap and a Lamar.
Nobody els could get anything close to the production Roman has gotten.
Lamar wouldn’t be a starter if not for Roman.

Everyone knows he sucks. The only people that want him in the league are liberals who agree with his political beliefs.
He might be talented enough to be a 2nd stringer. But name me one backup QB who is a distraction. You can't because nobody wants it. Backup QBs just simply do their job as a scout team and keep their head down.

I disagree on one of the worst but he was clearly on a sharp decline. Soon as he saw how profitable it could be not playing, nobody in the world wanted him to play less than he did. He knows soon as he'd get on the field, any of the "what ifs" about his ability the morons cling onto would evaporate and so would the Nike and similar deals.
Even the biggest Kaep fanboys should have saw how bad they were being used soon as he did that last minute venue change for that workout a couple years ago. He didn't want to risk getting any offer, no matter how chitty, that blows up this whole "black balled" narrative.

Not sure how some people still don't understand this. Each NFL franchise is a multi billion dollar business. He is not, and was not good enough to bring that much attention/distraction to an organization. A distraction is a distraction regardless of whether or not it is for a good cause or a bad cause. It does not matter. It is just not good for business. Especially in a team sport setting where distractions are detrimental to success. On the flip side, it was just as much of a business decision for Kap to handle it the way he has, as it was for teams to not bring him in. Once a team signs him, if he doesn't play well then he loses all the excuses made for him, he loses money, he loses out on the endorsements, etc. Kap was actually smart (from a business standpoint) to choose this route. He bet on himself going a different route and it actually benefited him. Especially when people are still praising him and talking him up as a football player and using hypotheticals and making excuses for him. If people don't actually understand that at this point then they are literally mentally retarded.
